I think his being a degenerate pervert lugging around a Ken doll that he's proud to call his boyfriend probably limits the pool of potential friends to pretty much Junior who originally befriended him out of kindness, charity, and pity.
Cody needs a character arc soon ‘cause I’m tired of his friends and parents always demeaning him. He needs to have his own miniseries of him leaving Junior and Joseph for new and nicer friends, and standing up to his parents (maybe he can have his own villain arc over a period of episodes where he gains superpowers and starts causing havoc across town, and the only way to stop him is to go back in time before all the chaos and apologize for all the mean things they did to him and promise to treat him better from now on)
But to be fair Cody is kind of in the wrong too, Cody has known them for 10 years and Cody still doesn’t invite them but he invites people he has only known for a for a little bit

@@matthewkarim5919 but at the same time I think the real reason why Cody didn’t invite them was because, he was afraid that they were going to ruin it, and also because they were complete assholes to Cody from the start, also they only wanted to go because of the buffet, not to support him
Now all of a sudden I want a Cody’s birthday episode next year in 2024 where he wouldn’t invite Junior and Joseph and that he’ll invite other people similar to how Kyle wouldn’t invite Cartman to his birthday and would invite Butters.

I like how Junior says to Cody that he and Joseph won’t apologize to him and that they didn’t do anything wrong, even though they should apologize to Cody for ruining his event.
That line really pisses me off, because that's coming from the same person who bullies Cody and his mom on a daily basis, and flatout admitted that they enjoyed seeing Cody in pain once.

@JackTheCryogonal No like, I'm saying though! Every since they stopped using plushies, it's gotten more irritating. I can't even enjoy SML like I used to anymore because of this so-called "comedy". Not that I ever enjoyed Junior or Joseph being mean to Cody from the get-go, but at least it wasn't as bad back then. At least Cody had the guts to beat up Junior every time he's provoked. Now they dumbed it down to Cody just getting used to it and crying. It's worse to the point where they beat up Cody for no reason.... And I'm expected to find that funny and laugh at that. It's literally BULLYING and ABUSE!! These episodes are like the recent seasons of family guy where someone acts like jackasses and are never taught a lesson (or they are taught a lesson, but will still go back to being jackasses the next episode). How can people find Cody's torment funny?? Would it kill Logan to make at least one episode where Cody can have his win and have Junior and Joseph be taught a lesson? I wouldn't even care if they died at this point either, it's more than they deserve. And the mom jokes, it's annoying. They were never funny. Junior doesn't even have a mom and Joseph's mom abandoned him, so how can they even keep that joke going?

No, but did they showed care towards Cody? no, bullying and caring is neutral, but bullying and no care, nope, one time, they almost got Cody drowned, and Joseph he ran away, when Cody was alive, Joseph came back and sued him on his football, he didn’t even came to apologize, one time they got him in trouble saying “Cody did it” and Cody went to principal’s. office.
I figure it would be time for Junior and Joseph to change and to become better people/friends and they realize they had treated Cody like crap all those years ago. That would be an amazing SML idea. I don’t think SML will ever do a character arc. To be honest, og Junior used to be a good person and friend. But The new Junior is just a spoiled little brat that has no Morals. It’s like Sml had a backwards character arc
Logan will never give characters story arcs. He doesn't want to give characters a compelling story just stereotypical characters with no heart or soul. Jeffy promising to be a good boy was a complete lie and will ever makes Marvin life hard. Rose for being a terrible wife. Junior being a bully. Joseph being a black stereotype. There are a few good videos. But episodes like these really tick me off. Almost everyone unlikable now. Oh even Marvin being greedy. Logan just sucks at writing good character. Sml will never be the same and I get it. Change can be good and bad.

Junior and Joseph really went to an all-time low. They ruined Cody's ceremony, and they made Cody apologize to them, while THEY should be apologizing instead! They're definitely the worst friends Cody ever had! I just hope in a future episode, Cody officially and canonically breaks all ties with Junior and Joseph for good. 1/10.

Junior said he knows a lot about plane crashes and stuff so what if you make a video about junior trying to become a pilot but hr cant seem to pass the test required to be eligable to become one so he keeps trying and failing and at then end he finds out that you need to know more about planes then just a few plane crashes from the past . . . Or something like that
