Je suis ravie d’avoir trouvé votre vidéo très bien faite ! Je débute dans les smockes, merci merci J’espère que vous ferez d’autres vidéos ! À très bientôt 😊
You have someone pleat your fabric for you. If you want to keep smocking long term, you might buy a pleater. I have one but think pleating is more trouble than it’s worth.
Hi, will u plz tell the pintax u taken nd what r the basics to get the pintex or taken randomly. Ur design r v beautiful I like it nd I want to learn the samoking methods. Thanks
Thank you very much. Are you asking about the pleats? You have to draw few rows on fabric and mark dots every quarter inch for every row to the end. Then do the running stitch on this dots. After finish every row pull all the treads and gather the fabric.
If you want to smock 4 inches you have to take multiple of 5. That means 20 inches. After that draw lines 1inch apart in the fabric horizontal. Then in that every line mark 1/4 inch dots to end. And then do the running stitch to every dot. It's hard when you don't have a pleater. This the way I do.
Are you asking how to do the round neck? You have to take straight pice of fabric and make the pleat like normal smocking. Then you have to tight a little bit upper plate and loose a little bit the lower pleats. It makes the round neck.
Fancy me thanks so much and what a great idea. Now I’m trying to figure out the pleather I bought and used 35 years ago when my son was an infant. I made some boy bubbles back then. I’m expecting a granddaughter in November so I’ve brought it out and am going to figure this out again,
