These sound delish. My only suggestion would be that, seeing as you're already paying the premium for slices of smoked salmon*, why not reserve one strip per egg-half as a garnish? That way, your guests know that you sprang for the good stuff, rather than just having mixed in some "cream cheese lox spread". Also, it would look pretty sexy. *I'm lucky enugh to live a ten-minute walk from Acme Smoked Fish, the Northeast's preeminent smokehouse, so I always buy wholesale, which still isn't cheap!
