You should write a book with these wonderful recipes and smoking tips. I’ve made short ribs and brisket using your videos and they were incredible. It would be great to have a book to reference in addition to the videos.
Absolutely love your videos. I watch a ton of BBQ videos but I always learn something from watching your videos. I enjoy the education just as much as the cooking. Don't stop!
By the way, that ash pan that attaches to the bottom of your charcoal basket is worth every cent. You have no cleanup afterwards. Unless you're a klutz like me and bump the side. Then a small amount drops to the bottom.
Good video and it's about how I plan on cooking my turkey this year. Just a note, I use a heat diffuser in my drum smoker... It helps even out the heat. I'll still probably rotate it though, if needed.
Turkey was the first meat I smoked, in my Dad’s old barrel smoker. After dinner, I took a nap. I got up excited to eat more turkey. I was shocked to just find a carcass of turkey in the kitchen. 🤣
It makes so much sense the way you started your fire in your pit barrel cooker. It seems to me as if that method would allow you to control your fire/ heat so it doesn’t get away from you?
Smoked a turkey last year using these steps now my family wants me to do a turkey every year lol. Definitely will be doing one this year. Any way you can do a giblet gravy video??
Hi I'm from Barbados and I love watching you cook.. Im making a smoker like yours and would like to know how many air vents you have at the bottom if any
