It's a shame, too, because the animation's gotten better, but at the cost of writing being boring to sit through. One time I tried watching a Modern Simpsons episode online and I just couldn't watch through the whole thing.

You know what? Homer choosing to buy that smoker instead of a new washing machine was pretty smart of him TBH. Theres plenty of washing machines out there available to sell. But that smoker comes once in a lifetime and there will be no other smoker like it. I would choose that smoker over a washing machine too.
If homer had opened a restaurant with the hive, the amount of money they could have made from it would have been more than enough to get a new washing machine.

Can you GRILL on a smoker? How exactly do you use them anyway?? I mean, are there stand alone smokers that you grill on? Or what? At the store I usually see a black barrel shaped grill with a smaller barrel on the side.. the side one being the smoker, but it also has a grill inside of it to place food. How do you use them? Do you grill normal on the big part with coals, and add additional wood chips in the small barrel area so that the smoke combines with the coal smoke? Or.....
riskyb250 Figured it out thanks. You're not supposed to grill inside the offset box. Those grills are made for indirect heat (no coals under the food) the heat of the charcoal (lump) travels to the main barrel from the offset and heats the food (and smokes it)
