the smokey eye was so gorgeous i didnt even notice your eyebrows not being done until you mentioned it the entire time i was just omg your eyes ....aahhh so gorgeous!
Dear Lauren, I just LOVE your beautiful, natural look. You are simply gorgeous and really know how to play up your features; as well as make terrific tutorials that are so easy to follow. By the way, I adored the video you did with your Mum...I could feel the affection you share with each other. Keep up the good work!
I love your tutorials so much Lauren!!! Do you think you could do a video on your favourite products for your body? As in fav moisturiser, exfoliator, fake tan and that sort of thing.
thank you for this step by step vid Lauren, I always have struggled with smokey eyes and this tutorial nailed it for me!! I actually like how you gradually blended each colour into the crease, and then shaded your eyelids to bring it all together it really does help. I recreated this look and it looked great thanks so much!!
I'm starting my make up course in February 2016, and you're legit my inspiration and I've learn mostly every technique from your videos, so thank you x
This tutorial is brilliant, for ages I've just been slapping on black eyeshadow and hoping for the best, could never get it to look blended at all but I've just practiced using this video and it came out perfectly! Thank you so much for sharing your expertise :)
The coolest thing about you Lauren is the fact you do amazing makeup that's is exaggerated and big and that works for my dance groups. My studio is doing a dance this year and I'm DEFF using this tutorial! Thank you ❤️
You can use the same techniques but I would use a lighter eyeshadow. Hers was cool but probably for your occasion. Then it again it just depends on your preference and what your wearing.
I bought the L'Oreal True Match today! For the past three years I have religiously only used bare minerals and was afraid to try something else. I decided I was ready to try something new and I LOVE IT!!! I never would have thought to get it if you hadn't suggested it over and over. Keep posting videos! I love your tips :)
Is this really a tutorial for beginners? O.o This looks pretty advanced out considering all the brushes and how to apply the colors together. It looks really good. But not super easy either...Does anyone agree with me? :3
I just wanted to let you know that I'm only 15 but I'm going through an incredibly tough time in my life right now and I can't explain to you how much easier and happier you make my life:) thank you
This takes her 6 mins, when my basic makeup, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrows, takes me almost 30 mins to do in the morning for school , so embarrassing.
whenever I try to do a smokey eye, I end up with a black eye *sighs*😂 btw I love your videos your awesome Beautiful and flawless #goals love you♥️♥️ and keep doing your thing!
I think I've watched like 30 videos trying to find inspiration for a new smokey eye and new looks for myself and honestly I can say that this is my favorite right now. I just love how you did this and it is so beautiful! and i really like how detailed you were and that you said each brush you used it frusterates me when people dont say what they are using. So I really like you videos!
I didn't like it either... but it looked better once she pout on the false lashes. I actually hate when people use tape for their makeup. XD But it does say it's for beginners, so maybe that's the point of It.
Absolutely in love with the look Lauren! Just tried it on myself and am so happy with how simple yet effective it really is! Thanks for the lovely tuts!
I love your tutorials! Of course I adjust the shades to better suite my skin tone but I love how you take the time out to explain why and how. Thanks a bunch!
I think this look should probably look good on someone like myself who has hooded eyes as well because the lid is all the same colour and it blends out and up. It's so frustrating sometimes putting all that work into a smokey eye that transitions from light to dark only to hardly be able to see it.
I don't know wether this is just me but why cant these people ever use actual affordable products I mean even when they do what they consider to be drugstore makeup they still use products like L'Oreal Paris or max factor now people like myself who are on a budget cannot afford 10 quid for a foundation let alone 30 anyways rant over 😏 no hate though lauren I do like your channel x
+Samantha Roccoforte did you consider the fact there are teenagers and young people who only work part time hours while they are at school? obviously they cannot afford to splurge on makeup. your comment is poor.
honey I do love make up, but I'm only 16 yo and here in Portugal I can't have a job until 18, so I can't buy expensive make up. That way I prefer go to Primark to buy some brushes and lipsticks and use the aliexpress site to buy a lot of products. You only need to be smart and learn how to do great make up with chip products, its not impossible at all ;)
I really like your videos I just subed! But i have some questions...I'm newer to applying makeup and such...though I'm 24...so...like in really like the idea of a smokey eye...but the colors you used look a little to much like bruises to me...what other colors would you suggest to make a smokey eye with? As well how on earth do you keep your mascara from flecking on your top lid?!? I have longer lashes and they always ruin my eyemakeup I JUST finished...how can I help that from happening
Loved the look, just in my opinion the lashes were a bit too much with such a dark eye? The mascara was great and made your lashes look long enough already, the brows maybe a bit out of shade as well, lovely definition though!💕
I really want to give you a big hug! I have never done a makeup course before but doing makeup has been something that I have always loved and I get a lot of compliments on how I apply my make up.. HOWEVER the black smokey eye is like you said unforgiving if messed up haha. I would have never thought to start with a brown base and then build from that?! It ads dimension to the look and I love it. Thank you!
I don't whether it's because I'm Asian or because I'm tan or because I did it wrong, but look just looked horrible on me. Like I got punched in the eye several times.
Lauren, you are just perfect!!! Ugh!!! Thank you so much for the detailed video, every time I tried doing a smokey eye, I used only black eyeshadow!! How embarrassing!!! Now I know what transition colors to use!! You're the best!! Thank you!!!! You're gorgeous!!!
It's amazing the way you eyeline your upper waterline without blink. I hope I can do this smoky eye, I don't have the blender brush, I'll try with the brushes I already have. Wish me luck.
Wow I dont know how you came up with this way of doing a smokey eye but its GENIUS! Im such a beginner in "smokey eye" look, and even when it comes to lashes and black liner. So, I thank you for this wish I found it sooner!!
