Welcome back to the channel where I’m continuing with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck and trailer to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. Well this is what I was shooting for … last year I set a goal to have the Snowman truck and trailer finished in time for the 2023 Lesco truck show (largest in western Canada). This has been a long road to get here, starting on the frozen gravel outside my garage almost 3 years ago. Had an amazing time at the show with so many great folks and even brought home 1st prize which was very unexpected. Special thanks to all the wonderful fans, friends and family who've supported me on this amazing project.
Also got a chance to try out the new Himiway e-bike that really worked well to get out and see all the trucks at this awesome show. As I mention, I believe every trucker should consider getting one as they are a great way to get over to a nice restaurant or grocery store once you’re parked at the truck stop to try and eat a little healthier.
