I am, I loved Smokie back in the 70's, but when they brought out this version with Roy Chubby Brown. I loved it even more, I even bought the T-shirt and wore it to work. I would sing this on the top of my voice. Bloody still listening to it😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤

I heard this for the very first time last week (June ‘22) in a bar on a cruise ship. The band singing almost stopped as I was laughing so hard, the lead singer was being put off. Fair play to her, she name checked me afterwards. The people at the other tables couldn’t believe I’d never heard the chant before. A week later and I’m still giggling. Going to dig out the old Smokie vinyl now!
1st heard it sung at piano bar on Carnival ship Horizen by best piano bar singer ever. Then last weel on an party bus excursion (open air) in St Lucia they played it and all on bus were singing it this way! Ablast!

I was at a Smokie tribute show last night. Needless to say, there were lots of 65+ year old goats belting out "Alice! Who the *&^% is Alice!!" This never gets old...unlike me and the rest of the old farts.....

I was at a bar this last weekend, and the band played this song! And the crowd responded appropriately with great enthusiasm. So awesome! Can't say I ever heard this song in a bar before. I also love the lyrics change on the 2nd chorus, they snuck that one in LOL.
I heard this Song in an Irish pub in Dublin, absolutly everybody sang along, it was fantastic! They were shouting the part "Alice, who the f*ck is Alice". It was soo great and its such a fantastic memory!

I'm American, and never knew Smokie replaced Chris Norman until just now. I wondered if he'd had plastic surgery or age had changed his appearance. I liked Alan Barton much better! He seemed to enjoy himself on stage much more.
i heard this song at a bar in vienna on christmas. a lovely lady with a 12 string guitar was singing, i gave her a small drawing that she really liked and sang me a gary moore song as a thank you. föni if you're by chance reading this eri thinks about you every single day ❤
Actually, it's a marketing trick. They use older music to target an older customer. Older music is definitely the best though! Even my 30- something children agree.
