Thank you for the foil pan and apple juice tip! I didn’t have apple juice, so I just added some water. Sealed tight and waited until it hit temp, then rested that way in a cooler for a few hours. I kept the water in because it had so much flavor. We were having family over the next day so I stored it in the fridge overnight. Next day I heated it back up in the oven, then shredded the butt and used the juices to keep it moist. I had made Cheerwine, Dr. Pepper, and mustard based sauces but didn’t even need it, it was so moist and tasty from keeping the water in the shredded pork. Amazing!
