@andresantanna1705 once my buddy moved to a new house and we were smoking in his backyard, i got so high, that when I went to leave I did the totally sober thing of immediately getting into the wrong car... his neighbors car... the only similarities between the neighbors and my car was color...
I'm so glad you addressed the "weed isn't addictive" thing because it annoys the hell out of me when people say it. I take edibles nearly every night bc it helps with chronic pain (and it's fun) and I've had to step back before because I've felt withdrawal. I don't have an addictive personality either. People seriously underestimate it and it can lead to problems
i love weed ima try edies tmr but they prob wont work cart fucked up my tolerance so much that ima eat like 10 n feel nun i be smokni a joint n haf=lf n fee lfine
i think it’s funny that people (as a general public) still don’t understand the difference between a physical addiction and a psychological addiction. it doesn’t need to make you physically dependent on it to make you addicted.
Yeah true, but at the end of the day it’s not harming you the same as a physical withdraw from some crazy hard drug, it can cause mental dependency but it’s not really an issue unless you have a fragile mind and can’t stop yourself from over consuming a substance
and as it turns out, it IS possible to become physically dependent on weed. I've suffered weed withdrawal much similar to withdrawal on opioids. I thought it was just in my head at first, but it's happened to many others and there are even a list of symptoms online that match up with the things i was experiencing such as cold sweats, restlessness, nausea and lack of appetite. But this was probably due to how chronic my use was because i was staying high constantly for like a month, then just immediately stopped.
Man I developed a whole eating disorder like most food don’t even taste good no more unless I’m high I’m tryna chill out with it rn and I do get faded a lil bit less now. Ppl underestimate how addictive it really is.
i wouldn’t consider myself the type to have weed as my personality, music makes up much more of it, but being high all day everyday everywhere is honestly one of the best things i’ve achieved.
@@Auris-Music yea i would highly recommend at least getting to know some growers if not grow it yourself. its harvest time now and i just had a guy toss me a free half oz. i've easily saved $100 in the last month. but it would be so much easier is society was just chill and tolerable.
@@Directorialconsequences Definitely feels that way. Idk it's not the same as your body feeling heavy or even slow. It feels exactly like the video tho.
3:28 In my personal experience smoking weed tends to make me study better than when I'm sober. When I'm studying sober I think about everything besides what I'm trying to focus on but if I take a hit or two I can actually get stuff done 🤷♀
I just recently really noticed the difference between indica and sativa. I went over to the homies house and he usually buys indica but this time he bought some white widow. I swear it was the weirdest high I’ve ever had. It was a suuupperrr strong head high and I felt so light and bouncy. I fucking loved it.
Ninye, my brother, I can enlighten you in the way of the "functional high". I am proud to say I sit on the line of being constantly high while also having personality. Without going in depth, basically when you are trying to do something while high, you just have to remind yourself that it's the exact same thing you would be doing sober, just high. That's me anyways
im sorry bro but in time your tolerance is finna be so high its not even funny anymore and to not have that happen you gotta basically only smoke at a certain time of day, like after 7pm or something. just saying, wake&baking every day is gonna absolutely kill your ability to get high
@@ttttttttttt2582 I think that's a case by case, I've been like this the last 10 years and my ability to get high hasn't changed when it comes to herb. I need like 200mg of edibles for 1 high, but otherwise I'm straight guy
i smoke too and realized that not being high all the time is so much better, i just realised that you don't need to be high all the time your just wasting your weed for non fun things and weed makes you slower. not being high in everyday situations is actually fun cuz you just know you have your j at the end of the day and you don't need it at any other time. you admitted that its the same as being sober but not really, its the same but just a little worse since your slower and more tired, i get the "high" as a motivation to do things but smoking all day is really going to damage your brain and wont help you, your probably aware of that. smoking at the end of the day when your done with everything is really more fun, your tolerance will get lower and smoking will become something more special and fun. the thing for me tohelp me just not want to smoke at anytime was actually just positivity. life is better if your not high all the time trust me
@@michelineduquinze8310 like I replied to the other guy, it doesn't slow me down at all, and since I work in a factory full time, being high helps me get through the day and I make plenty of money to support it. And my tolerance for herb hasn't changed in 10 years. Though I do need 200mg edibles for 1 high, but I don't get them often anyways
First time I smoked I was like 16 ish, and I took a couple good rips off a pipe, and for like 5 minutes didn’t feel shit. So I got irritated and took another few rips, didn’t feel anything immediately, then I put it away and started brushing my teeth AND BOOM that shit hit like a train all at once and I forgot how to brush my teeth and like I felt like I wasn’t in my own body. So naturally I like held on to the walls and walked down the dark hallway to the guest room and just died on the bed. 10/10 experience
Similar but with a blunt for me. Dude as soon as I turned it was instant. I was pretty blasted, especially the first couple of minutes before I started getting used to it. It feels like I was in a dream because of how senses and perception was different. But after like a couple of minutes drinking water and walking I just feel blasted.
@@knightcrawler9734 bro Fr, the first time is always the best, you are unfamiliar and it’s like adapting to an entirely new reality where you can do different things. Shits so hype
as a jamaican; i can tell you the part about strands is true. Different strands of weed makes you feel different highs; there's even one called chocolate weed that tastes like chocolate
Hard agree on "don't smoke with weed people." The first time I smoked with my brother and his friends we just sat around a fire and smoked various forms of weed for hours. Fun experience to have once every so often but I definitely got the depressing vibe that they were abusing the plant to escape life rather than enhance it.
Weed is not really addictive, but the feeling it gives you very much is. Before moving into another country I only smoked when I was with my friends, never alone. It just seemed so boring to me since i‘ve never done it and got so much energy and good mood from smoking with my friends. Then I moved and just completely stopped smoking because I could never imagine myself smoking alone, until I tried it and now have been smoking almost every day for a year. It just became my habit after work, until the point where it started to be more stressing than enjoying because I was chasing the perfect high with the right food right movie and right level of high. I eventually continued smoking anyway because not smoking was just so boring. I did not really feed the need bodywise per se, but it was just so boring to not smoke after work. Sitting around and waiting for the night. Eventually I ended up smoking every 2nd day and it just feels so much better again. Also I got to learn to look forward to not being high (just to be a nicer way of high again the other day) and do stuff I cannot do while high that I learned appreciating running errands too. Take breaks, it really does help.
your so right! my biggest fear while sober is to be bored but im learning how to do stuff i did high sober and its actually great too! i think we kind of coninced ourselves that without weed its boring but its really not! i also get the perfect high thing i neer realised it until your comment but i will ry to change that!
I remember when someone let me hit their pen and I ended up feeling like I was in hell for a solid 10 minutes slumped on the ground looking like I was overdosing on something
The reason there are people who smoke all day everyday who still function normally is just that they have built such a big tolerance for it and they really aren't as high as you'd think. Speaking from experience I was once like that and bro you really aren't getting any higher after the first joint you smoke in the day.
Man, it's not a smoke session until I've watched at LEAST one Ninye video. But, as someone who does feel dramatic differences with different strains, i have to agree that the main effects of the high are the environment and how much you've smoked. Those things make or break a high for me. That being said, i find it really interesting how weed impacts, or doesn't impact, different people. It's kind of beautiful in a very human sort of way ^w^ Edit:spelling
That anxiety and depression is outta this world when it happens though, shrooms had me ready to accept a life of eternal sadness then 20 minutes later understanding my place in this world
Lol I’m almost 30. I worked as a firefighter/paramedic, and have a lot of ptsd from that and my upbringing. I smoke everyday all day, and yeah I’m addicted, but it keeps me from freaking out in public and it’s lit.
How to be a weed person:cover as much ground as possible. Smoke before you work, before you play, before you enter the social setting. And you get used to the mood boost and philosophical activation while still acting normal. Weed people turn "acting normal" into a game. I know a weed person and I asked his story. Just thought I could share it with ya Ninye. You is my favorite high stickman
I've been smoking daily for 3 years now. it improves my work and keeps me from going insane... i even smoke during meetings and i've never been more productive.
i thought it made me more productie too but it doesn't you have to get the motivation while sober which is not easy but possible especialy if you keep your weed as reward at the end of the day. you don't need it for your meetings your wasting it, keep it for relaxing and fun moments, i guess theres a time for everythiing
As a weed person. I wouldn't say weed is addictive in the sense that my body doesnt depend on it. But I started smoking to help with mental health, so in a way my mind does depend on it. And my tolerance is pretty high, to where I can be high and still function normally. It's got its ups and downs frs.
One time I've tried a weed liquor with some friends at the beach. We thought that it was not going to makes us high but soon we were on the moon watching some South Park. Good times.
i remember that when im high and listen to music, the music is weirdly out of time. like ill be listening to one song for an hour and next song will go by in seconds
Ye I feel like sativas sneak up on you, it doesn't give an immediate "stone", but eventually you realize you forgot you were even smoking, indicas however instantly give this "slowmotion" vibe
Not me watching a video intended for newcomers, laughing because every single point Ninye just made has already proven true in my own experience around the block
Man at the right level of stoned, you can concentrate very well, and also also hold some very intelligent conversations after you smoke a few more years you will learn that I suffer from PTSD and marijuana helps me a lot in my day today life and to be able to cope with everything there is more medical uses than people realize
Bro that "don't smoke with weed people" is so real but for a different way for me in my experience. It's like going for a run with a marathoner. You will become absolutely demolished at the end of a "casual" session lol
there is a difference in strains and crap but its a smart ass thing, they’re all so small in difference that you’ll never notice the differences anyways
omg stumbling into ur content is the best thing that happened to me today. I was planning to binge watch hitchcock's movies but here I am binging ur videos
4:48 I once made the mistake of watching that final episode of Berserk while high and it REALLLY fucked with my head, I was so scared and disturbed for like a week.
TO ANY NEW "CONSUMERS" OUT THERE, take your time. We all think differently, therefor, we all THINK it will HIT differently. Weed is like driving a car for the first time, you have no clue how much you will need to press the gas (ahah lol) in order to go the distance you desire. "Baby steps", is what my first sitter told me and by far, that is the most important advice I could preach. Slow and steady Happy Smokin
You see I would’ve categorized myself as a “weed person” just a couple years ago but I’m glad to say that I was able to make more of a personality and I eventually admitted I was addicted and made some strides to do better, shit don’t get me wrong I still smoke everyday and do most things high and am 100% still addicted but I can admit that and am constantly working to get better at it, it’s definitely already gotten a lot better, idk why I just felt like explaining this lmao, thanks for coming to my Ted talk aha
I know i wont be the first and surely not the last to say this, but a smoking sesh with the boy Ninye would be the PEAK of my existence. Best vibes bro 😎👊
On one hand, I'm glad that I never touched the Grass in High school. On the other hand, I probably would've enjoyed Literature, history and the arts a ton more.
