I roll my own cigarettes, which I think is way better than buying a pack. I put no filter in it. So whenever I need to smoke, I have to roll it by hand so I tend to smoke less than if I buy a pack. Juul pods here in Québec (Canada) costs 25$ with taxes which is pretty expensive. I used to smoke one Pod a day, which was way too much. Because it tastes great and it can be smoked indoor, I abused it and was always puffing on it, even though I didn't need to. I suggest to never start smoking any form of nicotine. It just sucks in the end and gets you addicted to something you don't need in the first place. Whenever you quit you feel like there's something missing. I hope I'll be able to quit someday.

Ever since I started vaping juul, I slept better, am less anxious, less irritable and my insomnia was greatly reduced. For the meantime, I think it has benefited me a lot. If there are hidden negative effects long-term, I'm willing to take the risk. I'd gladly vape if that means I interact with people better, and if it helps with one key element of a good life - good sleep.

Something you didn't say in this video when mentioning the price difference is, you get a pack of pods for $16ish not one pod. So it's like 4 packs of cigs 🚬 for $16.

I’m 17 and have been smoking since I was 13. Very recently I was sitting outside smoking a cigarette and a thought popped into my brain it was like “this tastes really gross and it hurts my throat idk why I keep this up” and I put it out and it’s been about 4 days since I’ve gone near a cigarette I even have them laying around my apartment and I walk past them all the time and I don’t think once about lighting one. The withdrawal sucks though so I’ve reverted to vaping however I feel good that I’m not smoking and I want to keep this up until I’m comfortable enough to completely devoid my system of nicotine.

When I first hit a Juul I didn't even know there was nicotine in it. The only reason I keep hitting Juuls is because all my friends have them out infront of me all the time and it's almost impossible to resist when it's so convenient and shareable.

I used to Juul every day probably going through around a pack every week and a half. Recently I’ve switched to smoking a cig or two when I drink which is usually two times a week. My question: is smoking around 4 cigs a week that much better than juuling every day?

The thing about Juuls and vapes is that they were made as an alternative for people addicted to smoking cigarettes. A lot of former cigarette addicts are glad they switched to vaping and juuling because compared to cigarettes they are safer in the long run.

a pack of 4 juul pods is 16-20 so... actually smoking is more expensive since you get 4 pods per pack of pods which would be equal to about 4 packs of cigarettes

The biggest issue with Juul in particular is the amount of nicotine in it. It’s definitely better than smoking, but I’d recommend vapes where you can buy juice with less nicotine.

A lot of what nicotine does is similar to caffeine, and if it will be found that juuling has little to no negative side effects then I won't see it as a bad thing. Nicotine pouches are an alternative as well.

I just had a chemistry lesson just aboit the science behind cigarettes. Smoking a self rolled cigarette can be even more dangerous if its clicked to hard and thick, carbonmonoxide and even just carbon can be inhaled. Thats like breathing asphalt on long-term...

I find it very weird you guys didn’t talk about the studies which have found that the aerosols inhaled during vaping irritate the membranes lining the lungs, causing them to produce larger amounts of mucin which makes your lungs much more vulnerable to bacterial pneumonia as well as chronic bronchitis. In fact, the study found that the increased mucin in vaper’s lungs made it easier for harmful bacteria to attach to and absorb into the lining of your lungs, and into your bloodstream. Just because vapes are slightly healthier than cigarettes does not mean they are without risk at all. While i used to vape, i had to stop because i was constantly coughing up quarter-sized blots of white-ish gray phlegm. My lungs were trying to clean themselves by making me cough out all of the extra mucus which had been produced. I don’t have asthma, and i never smoked before vaping. But maybe my story is a rare case, and maybe i just have weak lungs. I ended up going to the doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis, this was after only a few months of vaping. He listened to my lungs and asked me if i have ever had asthma or pneumonia (which i hadn’t). I received an inhaler and anti-inflammatory’s (steroids), and within a week i was perfectly fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One correction, A pack of Juul pods is 15-20 dollars. A pack contains four Juul pods so the cost of one Juul pod is 4-5 dollars making it significantly cheaper than smoking.

why do y'all forget about pipe smoking? you don't inhale a pipe, you just suck a little, taste it, and puff it out. it's pure tobacco and you absorb nicotine much slower which means less addiction.
