I am blessed for having my wife and three dogs in my life. We appreciate you all for praying for our dog Eliot that had major disk surgery. He is doing great. He had lost use of both back legs but has totally regained use of those legs. God answered prayer. I am thankful for my salvation. I am grateful for my future home in heaven, God’s provisions, and his protection. I am grateful for you both and Big T and your channel which is a blessing and encouragement to myself and my family.

Yep, I remember those days, we played Jarts, well , ya learned when one of those hit ya, next time stay out of way, lol. Lesson learned. And no seatbelts, ya learned too, after you hit your head on the dash or the on the front seat, you better stay sitting in your seat. Nobody had to tell ya anymore, lol. Lesson learned, lol. Also my brother and I both learned why mama said “quit running thru the house”. We both have a scar on our right eyebrow where we fell and split it open on the corner of the coffee table. Lesson learned. Also, “quit jumping on the bed”, you learned it really hurts your nose when it hits the footboard, lol..Guess the lesson learned was listen to mama. Fun video! I was born in 1952. Birthdays were with family and everyone got a new coloring book and new box of Crayola crayons. Oh be still my heart! Still love a fresh box of crayons. We had a homemade birthday cake and ice cream. Wouldn't change it for the world! Happy Mother's Day!

We had the 67 station wagon too! Rides to church or to the mountains. Our big thing was taking bologna sandwiches and a watermelon to put in the river to keep cold till cutting time. Swim in the river and usually a sunburn and windows down on the way home. Those were the days!!! I still love the bell bottoms!😊
Happy Mother’s Day Karen . I can’t imagine living in these times without my faith in Christ/ have been saved since I was 12 and now I’m 67. I remember the summer weekly revivals in East Texas as a kid and some were pretty fire and brimstone / kept me in line Oh those catalogs Sears / Montgomery Wards/ Penny’s and Service Merchandise. Couldn’t wait for the Sears Catalog to come . I remember friends and family coming over and we made homemade ice cream. A simpler time and I miss it.

Happy Mother's Day. That does look like a cozy campground. Yes, indeed. The Sears catalog was how we shopped. Every year my sister and I would mark things we saw in the catalog and thru the year our parents would buy them for birthdays and holidays. It was the go to. I too was raised during the 70's. The greatest toy was a bike. Summer came and it was the time to get together with friends and ride all day long. Ah the memories.

Happy Mother’s Day. We really enjoyed Valerie’s testimony and she’s from the same state are, Ohio. You asked about our faith and my wife and I are both saved by the grace of God. It is the single most important thing that has ever happened to us. We have lots of things to be thankful for but salvation is the greatest of all. It is not only about knowing where we will spend eternity but it so important in our daily lives. Jesus gives us wisdom and understanding far beyond what we would be able to attain on our own. Jesus gave it all to everyone if they’re willing to accept him. Our cost is free and we get freedom all the rest of our lives. He makes it a wonderful life. There may still be some heartache but he helps us through it all. Thank you for sharing your adventures with all of us. You show people that there’s still hope in this world.
I just got to watch this video. And I really enjoyed it. I loved your guests testimony. Jesus is my all in all. I don't know how people survive without him. I am going through treatment for cancer. And he is with me every step of the way. I won't be in the Smokies until next May. (The cabins already booked) We are awaiting the birth of my first Grandchild in about 2 weeks. We put Nutella on one Graham cracker and crunchy p-nut butter on the other with my burned marshmallows between. Yummy! I remember getting plastic tumblers and wash cloths or hand towels in laundry detergent. Had a collection of cartoon jelly jar glasses!

Xmas catalogs were around in the 60s too. I loved that book for many years. Even when I had kids in the 70s. We didn’t have snacks in the car on trips. We played I spy and counted cars. Lol…and if we got hurt if you didn’t need iodine on a scrape you were told to brush it off @nd get back outside…lol…good times

Happy Mother’s Day Karen, and your hotdogs where the best and the chili was some of the best I’ve had. I could talk volumes about my life from the 50 and 60s. Best of the 60s was getting my first car 69 Mustang. The music was the best, everything seemed so much more bright and life was good. I was in a tech school, plus working to pay for my mustang. Things were not handed to us then, you earned them and worked to have them. Woodstock was the largest event in our lives and weekends filled with good times. Kenny and I raced 4x4 jeeps most weekends or just met up some friends to ride off road. Life was good. Talking about Christ, I didn’t know he walked besides me holding my hand as a child guiding my steps. As i grew God gave me a hunger for his word and I couldn’t get enough of his word. I studied each day for hours and still had to have more. I was baptized by my Mother and gave myself to Christ that day. Everything turned to Spiritual and the flesh or Soul was where the Holy Spirit dwells within me. The Holy Spirit will guide and teach you all things of the life beyond and things to come, seen and unseen. I come before the throne of grace and give all things to Christ who died for me. Always my love to you and prayers for you and Big T

Yes folks, they are gone and I'm so sorry kids today do not get to experience it. Life was hard back then, but seems so simple now when you look back on those days. Of course, hey 👋 to my man, Big T. I had a happy childhood. My (Marine) dad was my best friend, but he died of cancer when I was 14. I quit church. When I was in high school, a guy told me about Jesus Christ after wrestling practice. I never understood, before, that He shed His blood as the sacrifice and offering for my sins, died, and arose from the dead three days later. I knew I was in trouble, because I had been my own "god", living to please myself, (and I didn't do such a hot job trying to run my own life!). At age 17, I trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and He totally changed my life!!! I love Him, and I thank Him for loving me!!🙂❤️✝️ (thank you Valerie for sharing your testimony with us!)
Talking about what God does, my wife hurt her shoulder working out. Then two days later she was lifting her bike on the bike rack and ouch, she said I might as well go biking . So when she got there she took it off ok. When she was riding she said, Lord I might need help getting my bike back on the rack. I was on my way to a four day work trip, and something said (Holy spirit) go by and see you wife. I said, she might already be gone. But the voice continued , so I pulled into the parking lot at the same time she got back to the car. She started to cry. Now that's God
Hey guys, Love your videos. We're in the process of getting a class C. What, so far, is your favorite campground in the smokies? A few years ago when we had a travel trailer we really liked Anchor Down in Dandridge.
I think my mother-in-law said it best, "Jesus is just everything to me." He surely is. I remember when I realized, all by God's grace, that He wanted me. 🙌 That Jesus is God and He loves us and He came to save us, and He has, if we accept His free gift. ❤
