Blues is the cry of the soul. I am 66 years old and grew up listening to good music. Blues, jazz, classical music (Chopin, Mozart, Wagner, Beethoven, Bach), soul music, quality pop music, folk, bluegrass, country. I'm Brazilian, from the south of Brazil, and I hate samba, pagode, funk, rapp, axé. I also hate carnival and football. I was born in the wrong country, Brazil. I’m a hospice nurse and sometimes when I’m feeling sad after a hard day I’ll smoke outside while listening to this playlist. It’s such a bitter sweet playlist because the blues can bring such sad feelings but these blues let me know that everything will be ok. My earliest memories of blues/jazz was putting on headphones and playing my fathers records through his hifi system in the early 80's. Dad was a musician and had an eclectic taste in music. Now in my early 50's I find blues and jazz my go to comfort zone and always fun to play along with on a guitar. Thanks for this most excellent play list.
