Great tips! I LOVE travelling with my kids. We recently went on a cruise with my 1 year old daughter. I thought it would be stressful but I wish I had done it when my son was younger. The only thing is planning around their time (naps are necessary even if they are 5 or older)

Great video! My kids were all grown when they took their first cruise. I booked them in a cabin on a different floor, they invited friends from college and all had a great time, they were celebrating college graduations. All have cruised again since then.
We've been really lucky cruising with our son... and we also do a lot of those tips you suggested. When you discuss planning.. we also discuss events on the ship he may want to do. not just excursions. But that's us coming from doing Disney with a tom of things for kids/families to do. For our Hawaii pre trip we showed him places we could visit and which ones he wanted to do since were going to Hawaii several days before the cruise we discussed what we would do each day. Also come up with backups if the weather happens to rain on your day :)

FACTS! Dylan has been cruising since 6. After our 1st, my hubby and I were like why didn’t we do this earlier?. Oh yeah I was afraid of sea sickness. She literally does NOT want to even be bothered with us. Dinner only.. 😂😂😂
Tip 8: Leave your kid with grandparents or the babysitter 😂 Nah just kidding...These were great tips. I didnt start taking my kids on a cruise until the were 18. My kids are all grown now but these tips could come in handy if I ever take my grandkids on a cruise.
