I've found that another tension reliever, very similar to your mouth open advice, is to take a breath and then blow out starting the back swing. It really relieves the tension in the arms and shoulders.

Great video! I have noticed this too. I have been hitting the ball poorly of late so focused on just swinging smoothly and making good contact. Not only am I hitting it straighter and more consistently, but further too! Game changer!

Nice. My technique is to tell myself to swing the club through at the same speed as I swing back. Of course you will go through the ball faster, but it allows fora good tempo.

Hi Michele. With the grip as you explain, smooth swing , mouth open to relieve tension, I'm hitting the driver 280m now with a baby fade & my irons fly the same distances consistently. The only problem is my irons, 4i to PW, draw about 5m to 10m despite a standard grip causing me to miss greens. Please advise with a video for a cure 😅
