It was a fanfiction episode written by cast. It could’ve been either Damien, Jackie, or Shayne’s and I don’t think that Shayne’s fanfiction. Pair that with the fact that for years they didn’t like fan-fiction of them (and probably still don’t), it’s not hard to just see it as the acting it is.
