The video was awarded as the #best_music_video at the Cineaste International Film Festival of India and got the Offical selection at The 4th Meihodo International Youth Visual Media Festival, New York; Independent Video Film Festival of RU-vid Art Club Pavlos Paraschakis, Greece and One Earth Awards, Bangalore, India .
This song is an attempt to communicate the closure and the intimacy that we often attach to memories, forgotten and bygone. Our untamed intuition makes us wander recklessly - to distant, unnamed lands, away from the known past. Hunger makes us wander more, and as such, we tend to lose sight of the self.
As it's evening and the Sun is wary, we halt our restlessness. As the adamant clouds cluster around the horizon, we see flocks of birds in their returning voyage and areca trees swinging flirtatiously with the evening wind. The lush green of paddy fields, as Jyotiprasad Agarwala said, are crops of sorrow.
It's here when we sit beside an expanse of green sorrow that we reconnect with our self. Bygone memories hurriedly arrive, as if they are egrets and we, their nest. A golden peak of Sun ray comfortably falls obliquely on our face. Here, we breathe with memories. We breathe with sunrays.
