SLRS #2003, an ex- PRSL GP38-3 has recently been added to the Woodstown Central roster as their main locomotive for the time being, sporting a cab mounted Leslie RS5T horn capable of leveling an entire town. Enjoy!
The Woodstown Central Railroad is the newest tourist railroad in America, opened in November 2022 and operating on an 18 mile stretch of the former PRSL Salem branch. The line was revived by SMS lines after it had been sitting disused since the mid 2000s. They just finished their brand new station a few months ago, situated just south of Woodstown proper. Current excursions run either south to Salem or north to Sweedsboro, with the latter being the case for today's excursion, the Santa Claus Special.
