After all this time, I can't believe that he's finally back. The shimmering speeding form of Sonic that hasn't been seen since 2.0. You sir, are an absolute legend for going through the trouble of updating, remaking, tweaking, and redesigning aspects of SMS until this very day. I wish you an amazing birthday, for creating such an infamous transformation of Sonic, and being a generally great person. Thank you.

I've been playing with SMS most of my life, and I gotta say: this is one of the most exciting things I've seen come out of SRB2 since KIMOKAWAIII. Thanks for the memories, can't wait to try him out in 2.2.

NGL I'm crying right now, actually scratch that, after seeing the HyperMysticSonic reveal, I'm *_bawling_* my eyes out with happiness, the nostalgia is flooding back to me so hard I can't even imagine it, no longer will I have to IMAGINE the FEELING of going faster, but instead...WE _CAN_ GO FASTER...*MUCH* FASTER The fact this is now a transformation, as it was probably intended to be over a decade ago, must feel wonderful and now Super Mystic Sonic and HyperMysteriousShadonic123311 are reunited with each other officially in the same version again, and that makes me cry even more. We can finally start having those mini flame wars that nobody cared or even knew existed about which is stronger: "SMS or HMS123311?" and then deciding it with a battle on Meadow Match Thank you ever so much for returning to this legend. I'm so sorry that the SuperMysticSonic website couldn't last for one more year to see this, as seeing it update one last time would've been bittersweet, but I'm happy :) Welcome back, S̶u̶p̶e̶r̶M̶y̶s̶t̶i̶c̶S̶o̶n̶i̶c̶! GoldenShine! I can't wait to see where you'll go from here!

Man though I've been aware of this guy for over a decade even back during the final demo days trying him out there. Kinda fascinating that it seems recently there's been a bit of a redemption arc with this character after the huge divide he caused back in the day. Amazing how you can turn a character that trivializes levels into a character that trivializes level with style which in all honesty is probably the best way to go about it. Wonder if there'll ever be a TAS of the game with this character or something with what split second things are given to him now.

this is the character that i feel is calling for me but i just don't have the skill to master i absolutely love it tho, this feels like an actual skill based character now and not just "super sonic but gooder and more epic"

Man, the nostalgias popping back in again, and I love it, it and this mod, from when I played it when I was still in the gaming scene of srb2. Kudos to you my man, you have made a legend of a mod, and one badass of character. Rock on, my dude! Rock on!

I was hoping SMS would be ported to the new version of SRB2. He's always been one of my favorite characters. This looks absolutely insane, good job.

Y'know, after knowing about SRB2 growing up, and only just recently getting into it, I always wondered about the history behind SMS. Gotta say, Your videos on his history and moves tutorials were excellent. A character designed to be played at maximum possible speed and skill level, all to remind us of what made Sonic amazing?! Brilliant! My friends and I use SMS Reborn constantly during our runs. We set him to transformation to balance things out. It's true what was said, if you're not careful, his power will turn against you. I'm glad you decided to stick with your dream of bringing him back in all of his overpowered, yet refined glory. Well done. I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying, thank you so much for making this character! As far as I'm concerned, Sonic needs that signature anime/DBZ influence in the cannon games as well. Can't wait for the HMS tutorial vid! Thanks again!

I love the mere idea of this mod. An older, more experienced Sonic, with equipment and instincts honed from a lifetime of fighting Eggman, protecting his friends, and using the emeralds time and time again. Finding that emerald in Mystic Cave zone isn't just giving him some new, cheesy transformation. It's giving Sonic his maximum potential.

Super Mystic Sonic Reborn: The most "He** Yeah!" mod in any game ever. I haven't been playing SRB2 that long - certainly not as long as you - but I've been gradually learning his moves and stuff. It's been interesting. I'm excited to reach the point where I can really do whatever I want with this and fly around like a demigod. I still come back to this video sometimes for hype.

After all you have been through. You have made one of the best mods of all time. You just need to fix one bug.

Wow, dude... just... wow. And I thought that modern sonic's boost was the fastest way to get though levels, but THIS... This is beyond anything I've ever seen! I also thought that modern sonic fits the transformation most since if you use vanilla sonic, he kinda goes from classic to modern, which is weird but whatever. But wow... I've only been playing SRB2 for a year at most, so I didn't even know the character's history until I watched that little history video! If someone was able to master this... they would be able to speed run this game in 20 minutes! TOPS!!! Just seeing this is... I don't even know how to describe it... And paired with the music... Wow... I'm Speechless... Such power in one character/transformation... AND HYPER!! This is history. Way past cool. Feels aside dude, this is LEGENDARY. This is gonna take me longer than ANY other character to learn. Also, where can I find that music? Happy late birthday! (and yes, some in-depth tutorials would be great)

that looks exactly like the sonic game i made except my super sonic looks a little different the levels are a different layout, and you can play as classic and modern sonic, tails, knuckles, and amy big shadow and silver are coming soon though and still no name for the game yet. i might post a video on it but good job on this sonic game has real potential.
