hello David, great review, this A50 deserve the Pro name, great addition with the HDMI. I'm a little confuse here, sorry but i'm new to the hobby, how do you used the E70 Velvet as a source? which dac would you be u using there, the internal of the A50? Thanks for all
I like it because the optical input to use with a smart (but dumb) TV that has no RCA outputs . Need to output fro TV optical to my amp which has no optical output. The Fosi amp I have doesnt have the optical and needed a separate converter
Great review David. I am interested in purchasing this to output TV audio to a pair of MarkAudio CHR-70 Transmission Line speakers. Three questions: What is the low frequency output in a two speaker configuration? Does the hdmi arc power off and on the amp when the tv is powered on and off with the TV remote? How accurate is the volume up down from the TV remote? Thanks very much.
Hey, I recently purchased an A50PRO too and I wanted to give you some tips. 1. If you only connect 2 speakers, you can choose to output all the low frequencies from these 2 speakers. 2. No. 3. I use a Sony TV, and the A50PRO can accurately sync with the TV volume. This is because the Sony TV volume ranges from 0 to 100, and so does the A50PRO volume.
@@JoseFerreira-zb7wh I believe so. I own this unit but all I can say is that haha. There's no way for me to truly measure it. Theres one super misleading thing about this amplifier though. The output powers aren't accurate. Sure, you can drive like 40-60watts for the left and right speakers simultaneously. BUT, from my observation, the moment you add a subwoofer it reduces the output of the left and right, or vice versa. The whole system takes a hit, hence the "1 channel driven 100w 2ohm" note for the subwoofer output. The system sounds FANTASTIC when you only connect left and right speakers, truly.
