Most Japanese easily get the meaning of the song "kaerou", which is not only going home but eternal separation, passing away. Then, I saw several chats that used this song for the funeral ceremony of a loved one.
For kaerou, actually fujii kaze san explained in a livestream that the context of that song is pandemic (i think he released that song when pandemic was at its peak). I forget which livestream, and actually he speaks english fluently so i catched his explanation abt kaerou. So kaerou is like, 'death' but like not in a sad way. We're human so death is just so human 🖤
Nan-Nan was his DEBUT SONG🎉 Imagine when all you heard of him are of other singers then OUT OF NOWHERE He releases this song and this mv (which was shot in New York) This song ALWAYS amaze me how good a debut song could be. Still loving it after almost 3 years of release!
Also about Kaerou, he used to play piano at elderly homes back when he was in high school and he’s talked with a lot of elderly people so he’s seen through life and death at a very young age. To be able to write that song at the age of 21 (or even younger) is truly incredible. Also his albums so far are called “Help ever hurt never” and “Love All Serve All” which are also religiously related. He is a modern God with his sick gospels by now lol ❤

I am just one of his many fans to spread his gospel lol But watching before his debut and how he's gone so far and knowing he is not just some manufactured idols or singers with his own philosophy and messages he wanted to spread, all I could here is to spread his messages. OH btw yes he wrote all his songs and lyrics and did all the piano in his albums (since I saw you wondering if he writes his own lyrics) and he even did the translation of the songs himself so the English lyric captions you are seeing on RU-vid are all done by him :)
He is amazing I listen to his music all day everyday 💕 his music lifts you up and his live performances are everything his piano skills are above and beyond 😱 watch his live Nissan performance he really connects to you in a way I can't explain. 🤗

Yay, another Fujii Kaze reaction! I can't remember when I first discovered him, but it was definitely after the "Kirari" MV had dropped and I love his style of music. His two albums are great(and for the first album, he released an all-English version too), hope you'll check them out!
first time i saw fuji kaze was his acoustic piano cover of plastic love by mariya takeuchi. it has a funny blurred image as a thumbnail, you should check that out lmao he can also speak english. his youtube channel in general is just a very fun experience, if you have the time, you should go over some of the non-official music videos and covers. he's a fun guy! you don't even have to stream it! :D
