I understood the swapping out for the stat boosts, but was confused about how he was gonna kill Demi fiend in 1 turn... until I saw the magatsuhi bar build up again and Dagda brought out. This strat is absolutely ridiculous and OP.
Curious, could you use press turns to use the magatsuhi charging skill on nahobino to reuse dagda's magatsuhi fusion skill and get essentially infinite press turns? Or is there a limit to that strategy
I think it might be possible if you had more extra turns with something like Baal/Yoshitsune/Mastema passives, but the primary issue would be reviving the demons you have to sacrifice repeatedly. You'd spend a lot of turns just trying to refill the Magatsuhi bar and I'm not sure you'd actually end up net-positive. -There's also the possibility that Dana's Wisdom is only usable once per turn, but I don't know if Atlus thought that far ahead.- Edit: It's usable multiple times in one turn. Here's a cool video that uses Dana's Wisdom like four times ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pAKbZWta-C4.html
Only thing I think I'm not understanding is the need for belial? What benefit does the defense debuff/buff(when flipped) provide? I don't see any point in the video where this would have made a difference, is there a skill I missed that increases damage based on applied buffs or something similar?
Like the other comment said, Magatsuhi Strategize allows you to both pass and switch party members WITHOUT using a press turn icon. From what I saw in the video, the main gimmick involved him bringing demons in and out of stock to build up debuffs until they were full then bring in amanozako who flips all debuffs when she enters the field. From there its using Dagda and Dana's duo skill to regenerate all used press turn icons and let loose with Figment Slash which always crits if it hits. Arahabaki has a passive that passes on all buffs and debuffs when an ally enters the field.
But wouldn't that mean that, even without the switch shenanigans, every turn could be the MCs turn? That would be hella busted. Enter the turn with a critical aura and Murakumo the fuck out of everything.
@@HisHoleyness No, it doesn't work like that. Strategize is specifically made for you to change your demons in party without consuming up turns. Once you do any action besides "Change" and "Pass", your turn would be consumed as usual. Granted that you can give turns to Nahobino, you could only give minimal damage per Critical Murakumo to Demifiend but can't really go beyond what you see in this video.
Though impressive, at this point still calling it a one turn kill may technically be true but come on, you're doing more inputs and switching around than in a 10+ turn battle.
As you can see with DF's party, they tend to aim more for well balanced than outright busted combos. Remember, this is supposed to play out as a slugfest.
@@pourygin9496 The extra 7 weaknesses from Xiezhai add to Gogmagog's passive so yes, it does end up being more damage to have it. Xiezhai also has Helmsman which makes Figment Slash a little bit more consistent
He fixed the accuracy problem with that sheep demon. Its innate skill is something like “the demon that act after this demon get a boost to accuracy”. I believe he put beast eyes and dragon eyes passive on Gogmagog as well.
