I remember playing through this myself over the weekend, and weirdly enough I actually found the abrupt level skips at the start more annoying than terrifying. Imagine sitting there playing and suddenly you just get teleported to the next level without warning. Like bro I'm trying to play the game not speedrun it! 🤣 Other than that: Pretty Unsettling and well-made game for how old it is.

“You saved nobody” Lines up with a theory on how the Mario’s bombs game and watch game was where Mario developed PTSD and delusions, thinking he was really saving a princess from a big ‘koopa’ this entire time with his stable brother going crazy trying to help him with these fake adventures

I did not understand, Bowser is the bad guy? oh he he is another victim? is there a third in the story?

I don't get it myself but from what I can understand is that Mario couldn't save everyone and the entire mushroom kingdom fell to ruin?
