Smyl Manatee - Dental Implant Procedure 

I've already put 4 implants (2 at each side of my lower jaw) and I felt no pain at all. The procedure took place 4 months ago and the only issue was that for a few days I couldn't eat warm and hard food. A week later my doctor made a small denture so I could eat and speak and today I'm going for the second part. I felt no pain at all not even after the procedure or the day after. The procedure is expensive and in Greece it isn't covered by any insurance so for 4 implants, 4 crowns, and the denture I had to pay 5000 euros but I believe its worth it.

A month ago I had a dental operation, and I was a little bit worried, so I closed my eyes not to watch the process. The second visit will be in July. Now I can watch it here on RU-vid. Much respect to all dentists for such a hard work!

I had the 3rd step yesterday after having a missing front tooth for 187 days, it’s a painful process but it’s worth it.

Had 9 implants / posts put in and top and bottom over dentures ( snap in) made...2yrs later I absolutely love them..Best Money I ever spent! Honestly the process and bone graft were quite brutal...it is a process! I would do it again! 💜🙏

I'm having this done to an upper front tooth. I'm still in "week one" after the root was removed and the implant post put in. No problems so far. WOW, the science is just AMAZING!!!

Thanks for this. I’m the sort of person who wants to watch all the procedures done to me, but you can’t really see when it’s in your mouth! In a couple days I’m going in to have the finished implants put in and I’m looking forward to chewing on BOTH sides of my mouth!

I had dental implants which was very costly, and first part was very painful (bone graft ), the second part of it was not painful, it was just an adjustment period .Strangely, I felt a pressure around my eyes it was odd, I asked my dentist to loosen them hoping it would alleviate this odd pressure, but he declined because he said "It would loosen over time." Then a few months later, the implants began to hurt, a deep throbbing pain, and it caused facial pain. Sometimes, I felt a deep throbbing in my jaw, that pain was off and on. Then it began to hurt so bad that I saw my dentist and he said, that my body was rejecting the implant . :( I had noticed it was emitting bad odor. It was gross I brushed, cleaned, water piked, use this dental stuff 3-4 times to gargle with it was some stuff that my dentist gave me. I did research on that and found that a few other people were also having the same implant odor issue. My ND told me odor means an infection, but none was found on the dental scan . As a precaution I took a series of four ozone injection over four weeks if a hidden infection existed, it would be wiped out. After the series of ozone the odor remained. I was fed up . After a couple months, of almost no sleep and pain killers I just had the painful one removed. I could finally sleep and no longer require ibuprofen. Then the second implant began hurting more, same story. I was just tired of it and had them removed pain and pressure, pain odor are all gone. Everything isn't for everyone. I'm super sensitive, I wish I would seriously taken that into deeper consideration, and perhaps having one put in and see how it felt instead of having four implants placed. After more research I have begun to wonder about the risks of drilling into the jaw bone . I know there is a lot of information out there about cavitations and low level infections brewing that may trigger health problems I have discussed with with my dentist he said most peoples immune systems can kick it out, but that has not been the case for some of the peoples cases that I have read about. I did a lot of research about this so that I had a greater understanding of the possible risks and health ramifications. A friend was discussing with me a new technology will soon exist where they may be able to just help people regrow teeth.

Some of my adult gums were missing. I rode them out till I was 18. Fortunately they made them for free here where I live because it's a genetic problem. Three of my teeth were replaced in total but I had to take a bone implant operation also, that was pretty rough.

Had implant done 2 days ago under local anesthesia. I was not put to sleep. Whole process took around 15 minutes. Didn’t feel a thing. I’ve only taken one painkiller just in case it started to hurt. Didn’t really need it. Cheek is kinda tender but other than that. Not really any pain.

Recently did my first and second procedure - no issues observed at all

My husband had this done in the first phase today. I have never seen him in so much pain. I am so mad that they try and hide how painful this really is.

I just had done my teeth in Turkey. Since the value of the Turkish lira is low, it came very cheap and at the same time it is very high quality. There are clinics that I would recommend to anyone who wants it.

Did the first surgery 1 week ago tomorrow. Anticipated with dread. But, has been a total non event so far. If you could ask for and get, you could not have gotten a better experience. I was out before the doctor ever showed and felt zero pain in chair, pain afterward and very little discomfort from any part of the process after coming out of anesthesia..

My tooth broke after i had my daughter, when I was pregnant with her all my calcium went to her (that’s what my dr said) so it made my teeth weak. I bit into a burrito that day and it broke :( I tried to fix it but I ignored it. So now 8 years later finally getting an implant. I’m lucky it was a tooth that’s in the back 🤣 so you can’t really see it, but I’m excited :)

I went into the operation completely blind. Had no idea how much drilling it was gonna be, or cutting of the gums, but it was pretty much like the vid.

I’m sorry when I first saw this I was like ouch, drilling into my jaw, it look like it would hurt. After reading many of your comments and saying it didn’t hurt or it had little pain afterwards, I’ve thought about it but living in Hawaii it would be so expensive.

I just had a 7 implants pretty much same way. Im still little bit traumatized what happened 3.5hour. But now after 5-6 hoirs i feel very good. These implants dont make any pain. Propably i feel gums and stiches uncomfort

I just had the initial implant done 2 days ago. I was put under for it, but once I was awake and after a couple hours, the numbing started to wear off... oh boy. It was insanely painful. I about went to the ER for it. But after taking the hydrocodone or whatever and 1000mg of ibuprofen, it knocked it out and it's been quite tolerable ever since. Unfortunately, I'm all swollen though and it's very tender. Oh well, the worst of it is over... I hope.

I had a lot of pain from the shots bc I informed the dentist I couldn’t tolerate Epinephrine. The drilling etc. was uncomfortable. Nothing was left out above the gum so the site healed completely over. I didn’t have a temporary tooth either. I dread to go back tomorrow so he can make another incision to expose the implant. After tomorrow they need to do the measurements. This has been hell. Lots of money, lots of pain, no explanations.. hated it!!

What about the bleeding while drilling in the bone??

I am 74 years old, having bye pass surgery in 2000, Diabetes,Fasting goes upto 105-110,pp upto 150-160, Thyroid ,weak etc.Dr advised me for implants teeth.pl me that at this stage & with above diseases.It will be advisable to me in this stage .At least 12 teeth are required.

I had a molar pulled yesterday. First step before an implant. No pain today. Stiches come out next Wednesday. The whole procedure takes a couple months or more. No pain from the extraction. The Dentist had to add some filler to my jaw for the implant. That will take a while to grow into my jaw and be ready for the implant post. I chose not to use insurance, mainly because my Dentist is awesome, but he is not in the insurance network. $6,600 for the entire procedure. 😳

Yesterday i visited to implant my one tooth. Now i m not allowed to eat hard and hot for one week. The process is still going on so will update once it is done. But here the way they show us this awesome video. I liked. But i had one complaint from my doctor when he x-ray after put the screw. When i saw x-ray the distance between screw and the side tooth had a bit were mismatching. One side tooth distance to the screw was 5.6 other side was 5.3. Doctor i can fix thus distance if u want but then i said its ok

Wonderful and informative presentation. The procedure looks horrific and the thought of having my actual jaw bone drilled into makes me prefer to just eat soup the rest of my life! Why would you prefer this over a crown even if a root canal is needed???!

Just had this done a few hours ago, but they did NOT cut the sides of my gums open like that, lol the cut open the gap spot and then opened, and closed with just 3 stitches

My brother had his front upper teeth replaced with these implants and he said it was hell , painfull after for 2 months , shooting pains were firing into other teeth ,the had a infection that needed anti biotics and stank like pig poo until the antibiotics finally got hold and began to heal n kill infection . At the time he told me if he was aware of all the trouble he endured before going ahead he would likely have been too afraid . That said , now they are settled in and no infection he actually is now glad he did do it It all looks very nice and easy with animation or on a model with real extracted teeth BUT it is a very different reality when it's happening to you. ! BUYER BEWARE , lol the afore mentioned description is my brothers genuine experience You might be more fortunate and this was 10 years ago so technology May have changed a " little bit ". 😳

I have undergone implant 4:49 on 11 and 12 of upper jaw. Taken antibiotics and other as per dentist's advice. On 8th day stitchs are removed. Now l am getting pain on throat and fever in evening time ,which gradually increases to 102 degrees and gives relief after taking paracetamol 500 Is it normal or to get any medication. Jesus Christ this seems barbaric. I have a consult next week for a fractured tooth (failed root canal) that I need to get extracted and implant but this makes me just want to get it extracted and skip the implant part. Is it really as bad as it looks, and if you've gotten it done under local anesthetic how painful is the procedure during and after?

hello. nice video. I had the dental implants placed 7 months ago but the tooth replacement has not been put on yet. My dentist says he needs to do the impressions which today I still don't know what impressions are. I noticed there is some lose plastic or white material that is lose around where the implants were inserted....do u know what this lose material is.??..I am watching videos but I don't see it in the videos...thanks
