my goal is for the channel to hit 1k before the end of the year Discord- / discord Music- • Tears For Fears - Ever... • Queen - Don't Stop Me ... Thanks for watching #spaceX #starship
Put this in Saturday’s video Marcus (of course if he gives you permission). Your Saturday or I got videos have been a treat, everyone that is covering SpaceX is amazing, but die your content is among the best.
WOW, this isn't the most accurate but it is the animation I liked the most about the starship's orbital flight, the combination of camera angles and the music were AWESOME
I think it will leave the pad a lot faster than this, a LOT faster, almost SRB speedup. Remember, no actual cargo first flight ... And no reentry burn, it's already ballistic from the get-go
This was most likely made before Elon said the TWR would be 1.5, it makes a lot of sense to think they would throttle down engines to lift off slowly to reduce aerodynamic stress as they did on the high altitude test flights.
I think this is what it would look like in slo-mo... and remember this is what the creator envision the launch to be... didn't you read the disclaiomer the very thing in the animation?
"my goal is for the channel to hit 1k before the end of the year" Dude, at this rate, if YT decides it likes you, you're gonna have every SpaceX fan on your channel.
The music choice was great and the only thing that seemed off was the lift off of the booster, it was a tad bit on the slow side, other than that this was an amazing animation
@@threehead99 1.2 means 2m/s/s, 1.5 means 5m/s/s which is more than twice as fast as Saturn. Something like 120m height should take roughly 7 seconds to clear the tower depending on launch profile. It was definitely a BIT slow.
@@jasonlast7091 again, the Saturn V took a full 12 seconds to clear the tower, and that was 380 feet. It took 12 seconds to travel 380 feet because of the weight. Starship has a slightly high TWR, but needs to climb 480 feet to clear just the tower, and thats not counting the additional height for the crane at the top. The animation is more realistic. Your numbers come from the speed of the rockets after 1st stage separation. That's not take off weight. The TWR increases the longer the burn happens, because it's an increasingly lighter vehicle. This isn't KSP, the rocket will not just clear the tower in 3 seconds like everyone believes.
@@threehead99 The numbers come from thrust to weight that YOU provided which I checked for Saturn V launch profile acceleration/ time graph and it was accurate! What I should have said was rocket height but extra 26m takes less than a second to travel bringing the time to about 7.5s or "roughly 7 seconds" ,
@@jasonlast7091 im being generous in assuming that exactly when the animation switches from ground to side view is when it clears. That was 20 seconds, give or take. A little slow, yes, but not as slow as people are saying. They assume, and wrongfully, that the thrust alone will make it clear the tower in a couple of seconds, take off weight be damned. Rockets are heavy, and the thrust is only that high to get the initial mass moving.
4:07 I love the attention to detail of having the engines be a little bit on fire after shutdown. I just wish more animators would include the venting that happens all throughout and specially prior to liftoff. The venting can take these animations to a new level.
@@Godisbest4you saw this an hour after it got released! I just wish there was wayyy bigger of a splash when SH falls into the water after soft landing… other than that, its absolutely spectacular.. the music just takes it over the edge for me.
That's just beautiful! Don't sweat the changes to the design. Who can keep up? Just shows what three month's worth of change does to the design. Love the tunes, too. The landing at the end was amazing. The undulating water was so satisfying to see. Great work! I'm a fan.
This almost brought me to tears. The song choice and editing is fantastic. And the animation...just wow. Thank you for every hour you spent on this...and I bet it was many
Great choice of music. I remembered both songs back in the day and they're appropriate. The 2nd verse of "Don't Stop Me now" is quite fitting for Starship (I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars). I wonder if SN20 & BN4 will be recovered from the sea. At least there's no danger of an RUD, lol
really nice job with the animations and music choice! it really gave the impression of scale just through the movement of it all. also the camera being fixed to the hull made it feel so real!
Wow. I like C-Bass's reserved approach the the music, but WOW, was this amazing! The engine effects look good (if a bit orange), the Starship looks good, and you got the grid fin placement correct! This is one of the best Starship animations I've seen!
Dude. This was do awesome! I loved the choice of music, the way everything looked, and I love how you could feel the weight as Starship fell down into the water. Awesome job! I also hope that SpaceX sends a camera close to the splashdown site because I'd love to see the shot of it slowly falling like your video did.
