Is there a reason not to breed one you got from a pet store? Just curious.

@@DrRoseNose Most are very diseased and just in horrible shape . Plus you can't tell their history so can have a mix in there you don't want.

@@DrRoseNose It depends on the shop a reptile specialized pet store isn't a bad place especially when you see them housed correctly. Places like petsmart and pet Co are ones to stay away from as their snakes do not come from reputable breeders. At general pet stores they usually title morphs as "specialized". As to why you don't just pair 2 random snakes is if the gene is recessive and the other doesn't even carry it you will get a clutch of non morphs. Example exanthic crossed with a clown would be full of nothing but non morphs het for clown and exanthic leading to lower quality offspring until they are crossed with a snake with those genes to potentially produce those Genetics.

What's funny is that this behavior is also present in humans to some extent. A lot of long lasting relationships between people with personalities that normally wouldn't be considered super compatible lasted so long because they were with each other through a series of major life changing events or sometimes even dangerous situations. Some people say that this is a good reason to take a first date to a horror movie or an amusement park, but honestly, would you really want to spend the rest of your life with someone you weren't very compatible with just because they got you to associate the release of adrenaline and other endorphins with spending time with them? After learning about this, personally, I'd rather keep dates as low key as possible to sus out how compatible I am with a person before risking getting too attached or reliant on them for support.

After watching her channel, I started wanting a snake ever since i looked at one of hers. A year passed of me asking my parents for a snek (Poor them XD) And now i have one and my older brother was scared of snakes until i got my pet ball python. He now loves snakes and wants a green tree python ( Or i think he wants a python cause the one he shows me atmre green tree pythons :P)

They already made a video a long time ago about how they're against spider balls.

And that morph only exists for Ball Pythons or am I wrong? (I don't know much about the different morphs of snakes so want to make sure!)

My sand boa escaped about 2 weeks ago and there's still no sign of him, I've been pretty distraught because he's so tiny and it's cold where I live. My dad has offered to get me a ball python because I had been planning on getting a second snake anyway. Glad you got yours back though!
