Hi Chaz, great video as per usual. You mention hypoaspis mites as a predatory mite but taurrus mites are far more effective which is why you may have had limited success. Personally i only use taurrus now as it's far quicker than using Callingtons as the predatory mites eat eggs and adults at the same time.
Thanks for making this fantastic vid! I'm a local and if/when I get mites I will definitely be giving you a visit :) Hope to see more of these health vids.
Great video i used callingtons a couple of years ago on my bredli and jungle carpete python it got rid of my mites and I'll use again if they ever get them again
Can you use frontline spray and the callingtons together then? The vet told me to wipe down the snake and box and leave for 5 minutes then wash off and repeat in 7 days. On day 7 could i just do the callington spray instead of another frontline application? Cheers.
Hi great video. I have a ball python who keeps on spending the night in his water bowl, i cant see anthing in his tub or on him, are mights easy to see? If it turns out he has them i was going to use the callington spray, can you confirm that i should spray the tub for 2 to 3 seconds with the snake IN the tub then close the tub? Cheers for your help. Neil
Hi again. Ive looked on youtube for how to do the frontline method and people just squirt some on there hands and rub all over the snake, does it have to be diluted or anything or just use straight from the bottle. Also do i still need to use the callingtons on the tubs, i use a rack with plain white chip shop paper. Thank for your time. Neil
I got frontline spray from the vets and they said put on the snake and leave for 5 minutes then wash off and repeat in 7 days, does that make sense? Cheers.
