This reminded me of my Grandad. He was a firefighter in rural England. Shire horses used to pull the water tanks. I used to make him tell me bedtime stories about it. Ive been fascinated with fires since then. Oh and he used to listen to Johnny Cash! And ABBA! Lol ❤🇬🇧
2 years ago, i watched this great movie, "Only the brave". I had no idea it was a true story (a tribute to this heroic crew), as i live so far from the States (Greece) and didn't now anything about this tragic accident. I saw so many videos in youtube after, about the true story of those heroes. Additionally, I saw many other videos about the "hotshot crews" and i really admire the courage and strength of those people! The specific one is one my BEST! The music background of the Legend (Johnny Cash) is more than suitbale!!! Applause for those brave and courageous men!
Wish I would get hired with these folks, no luck since had no experience. went with regular 20m crew) Shout-out to all men and Cody Vincent, my buddy back from HS! Stay safe ya'll
I just wanna say I found brother Dege from this video and he’s my favorite cardio pt music when I’m running in the woods. That steel guitar hits in this video too. GREAT edit
By far the best hotshot crew montage I’ve seen. Good choice of songs and badass clips that are good quality too haha man I love it! I can’t wait to start my season of fire when I’m finished with school
I've been waiting for this since your teaser a few months ago. Awesome film! I am Auntie of Chase "Maverick" Andersen (last name should be spelled with an "sen").
They are employed by the forest service, so my guess would be they get funding I don’t think they get one big order, maybe they get a few new saws every budget season. But I’m not sure.
need to have some clips that hold the shot and show how fast the fire can move.....another good shot would be of a water drop on a flame front up close.
I love this so much thank you for this!!! This summer I became obsessed with firefighting and everything that entails! I’ve been waiting for 2018 videos! This is so amazing! So I want to become a wildland firefighter! Most likely hotshot and or smokejumper! If you have any stories I’m all ears! But if you have any advice or suggestions for anything to do with firefighting I’m here and ready to listen. Oh and I should say I’m 13 ahha Once again thank you this is awesome and thank you to the firefighters!
I would start volunteering. Since your young start going to your local fire station and ask them to refer you to any programs. Also tell your parents and I'm sure they can help you with your career goal.
Linda Fabian Thank you! My parents are very supportive (my dads a volunteer firefighter) I live in Southern California and with the fires I got to meet and talk to quick a few different firefighters. They are recommended the fire explorers, and a couple of them did it. A family friend did the fire explorers and bows he’s a hotshot. Thank you for your advice
Kevin Conley that’s cool, thank you. I just turned 14 so I get to apply for the fire explores/cadets. I’ve watched all of your guises videos. Once I’m old enough I might look into you (snake river hotshots)
hi Kevin- would it be possible to use some of your raw unedited footage as b-roll in a wildland training video for firefighters? we woule be happy to credit you and the snake river hotshots, please contact me? bethc@action-training.com I would need hi-rez files (youtube files are too compressed)
