Snakebites are the ultimate fall beverage because they're a combination of cider and stout in one glass! It's a real journey of a drink that's just as good to look at as taste. We make our cider by crushing and juicing fresh-picked apples from a local orchard. We make our stout using a light grain bill with some roasted barley malt for extra flavor. Whip this mixed drink up at a cookout and you'll be sure to amaze a few friends with this seemingly magical drink. We also recommend brewing this one outdoors, we think it tastes better that way.

That's posh snakebite with homebrew/craft cider and beer. Snakebite is is student nectar in the UK, normally made from a shit mix of cheap cider (normally strongbow) and a cheap larger (Carlsberg, carling, stella, fosters if your nasty) with or without a drop of blackcurrant juice. Snakebite with blackcurrant can be called different things around the UK, like where I'm from its call a diesel.

Yes, Lager and Cider is a Snakebite, what your man has made here is Stout and Cider, known in UK as Poor Man's Black Velvet.

Awesome video guys. I've always called em black velvets, supposed to be called poor man's black velvet as standard one is stout and sparkling wine. Snakebite is cider and lager.

I'm a 53 year old retired consultant millionaire in the DC area. Worked and slaved, raise a couple super kids. Great wife. Now I just want to be Ross and Emmit. I'll settle for the three corny kegs in my basement fridge. One just kicked so its going to be brew day soon. Slainte fellas.

I love Notty yeast. My first brew with it got somewhere around 87-88% attenuation even though the manufacturer estimates 75% (dropped my Blonde ale from 1.041 to 1.005 @ 55°F in 4 days). Super clean and drops out like cement.

Try in this order in one pint glass, half a pint of lager then add half a pint of bitter then pour in a single or double blue bols, don't stir. It's called a green death and its amazing.

Great video not sure I'd call that a snakebite, here in the UK a snakebite is a cider mixed with a larger, or guiness and champagne is called a black velvet, by the way how is Ross? I think i saw somewhere he hadn't been well recently if so sending best wishes to you ross!!

The final gravities need to be slightly different. You may try flipping the liquids (stout on top vs bottom). And bend a spoon like we did for best results

Don't think I've ever had a stout snakebite. It's usually shit lager or cheap bitter and shittier cider, with a dash of blackberry syrup. Wouldn't call it a fall drink either, more like a drink that makes you fall over shitfaced.

Yea...so i have drank many lager and stouts, and many ciders and stouts. I have heard them all called many names which is fine. My problem with this video is the stout is supposed to be on top! This is blasphemy! Supposed to be stout to start then finish with the cider. Would you chow down on dessert and then eat you dinner? These guys might 😂 really tho, great video i enjoyed it but they are making it wrong
