Whatever Fender pays Shane, it's not enough--great guitar player, super knowledgeable, and a great speaker/demonstrator. I know everyone thinks they can do all 3, but they can't. Thank you for reissuing the tweed Pro--the ultimate jazz amp IMHO.
My friend was clearing out his grandpas garage and found a original 57 fender champ amp. He called me and gave it to me for free! He is so awesome for giving it to me and i absolutely love that amp.
I like these amps, but something is bothering me. I have a 2014 5 watt hand wired lacquered tweed Fender Vibro-Champ that has built in tube tremolo and it was $999 or the same price as the new Champ that comes without the tube tremolo. Actually they removed the tube tremolo across the board on all these amps but kept the price the same. This bothers me. So I won't be getting any of them. The tube tremolo is wonderfull and is the best feature of my 5 watt Fender hand wired lacquered tweed Vibro-Champ.
Killing my wallet ! Yes those amps are badass, but I can have one made the old-school way (hand wired) with an ALNICO speaker and all for under $700.00 so I don't see me getting one of these any time soon.
Fender is my favorite . I get the best tone from a fender amp . I can even get metal tones . I'm not talking about Skunky Baxter heavy metal tones lol I'm talking true heavy metal . Skunk is great btw
I have had great luck with Fender guitars Even the ones from Mexico. They have always come set up and built perfect. Gibson is the other story. I wish Gibson would use maple necks it seem more stable.
They do. I have one. Called. Raw power the whole guitar is made out of maple. It's pretty heavy with a maple fretboard as well. They made a few of the reissued raw power guitars in the early 2000,$. Or so. All maple guitar like Les originally wanted no binding .. gold top in color was the only color it came in with a maple fretboard and neck as I spoke of.
