The thing I like about Hamilton is that he usually knows all about the tools he sells. That along with the humor you two have you could almost go on the road and make money. Love those tools for sure.
I wish we had a snap on truck that would stop by our tech school in SW Minnesota at least once a month. All of us going there like snap on and wish we could walk on the truck and hold the tools before we buy them. But instead we have a snap on rep who shows up from time to time and we can order from online/book with him. I mean snap on still gives us a student discount but it would still be nice to hold the tools and handle them before we buy them.
SE Minnesota is pretty dry for snap on dealers as well. I have to meet with one in Rochester (30 min from me) if I want to physically hold things before I buy them.
The 3 arm style adjustible filter wrench is handy when you need it..used it on yamaha outboards,my john deere mower, and new chevys with 4.3 when you're too lazy to pull them dust covers
I remember Ole Jerry Clower talking one time about how the World was running backwards. Clower stated when he was coming up the poor kids ate bologna sandwiches and the rich kids ate ham sandwiches. Now, it’s the poor kids eating the ham sandwiches and the rich kids are eating the bologna sandwiches.
If you work on the 6.7 Cummins where you have to get the oil filter through the fender well. Check out the Lisle 57180 Cummins oil filter plug. It’ll make you’re life much easier and less mess.
i remember you did the video of the snap on vs the milwaukee fuel ratchet and despite the torque ratings, which milwaukees was accurate and snap on was lower, they were the same essentially. but we also know the snapon spins faster. also when talking about lights, the one you show on camera is my absolute fav light ive ever owned, been 3 years, works perfectly, drop it often, strong magnet, perfect size. and the price is great for a rechargeable light
Back when I was started turning a wrench in 1987 both snap on and Mac trucks would give out free jeweler screwdrivers now that I am in the HVAC industry the supply house give them out to techicians
Im 1st, the vid is kinda late but *FINALLY* Edit: Clay and everyone else here, snap ons "true torque" isn't anything special any lithium battery will make a tool put out the same amount of torque pretty much no mater where the battery is at
Man, you have a perfect following and platform to help out your tool guys...i hope Hamilton and Michael get the cooperate world to throw them a bone....your growing so fast. This is promoting the brands so much..... Online sales only, since you can't sell out of your region is stupid!!
And I can't lie and say Joe doesn't look good...I hope people realize why Joe runs his business the way he does, its for a reason...nobody works for free
That adjustable filter wrench is actually real awesome. Especially if you’re working at a truck stop where you don’t know what the next truck was gonna be. It’s also useful if you can’t slide the wrench over because something is in the way take it apart and wrap it around. The three he is good for the Cummins 6.7. Put it on the end of a long extension and go straight up.
For the changeable oil filter, i would guess for a fleet service of the same vehicles but anyway Hamilton & Clay, its Pennsylvania smokin Snap-on fuckin friday baby up here, another great video and chatting 🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
i like the three prong filter to remove stubborn filter. but always use a filter band wrench. the cups drive me nuts, because you get any oil in it, its stuck to the filter and you cant get it off.
I've got 3 Craftsman tool chest combos, a total of 90" wide, and they are all stuffed FULL. Seems like they just take up space, and don't hold many tools, primary reason for existing was to generate profit for Sears. 💲😫
I i got 2 craftsman top, bottom and intermediate and stuffed with tools, and my friends want me to sell them cause i just got my 2020 green trim 68" Epic snap-on box, no way i m not parting them out, hang on to them cause when i was real young i dream of having one of them boxs i seen in other peolpe garage, besides the very first wrench i ever picked up to fix my bike was USA forged craftsman 1/2" and 9/16" we considered craftsman wrenchs cheep junk back in the early 70's as a kid, now i collect then and use them every day over most of my snap-on
Best thing I ever did is get rid of my 1 Big ass Snap-On tool box now I have 2# 5 drawer Harbor Freight general tool karts red for standard blue for metric each cart has everything you need and for the stuff I don't use all the time Milwaukee 60-inch 11 drawer workstation with a nice heavy duty wood top. Now I can bring the tools to the work and not have to walk back and forth to the big box every time I need something or unload a small tool cart back into my big box at the end of the day
I used the 2767 today to take the nuts off the bed floor carriage bolts on the '79 K10 I'm restoring. It took all the nuts off but one from the carriage bolts. On the other one the bolt spun in the square hole of the floor so I had to take the angle grinder to it. I had a long extension and a U joint attached to the 3/4" impact socket on the gun. Hamilton got it right. That 2767 is bad ass.
I watched this one twice The first go around about halfway through Theodore decided he wanted to go outside. Then I was wondering what you two were talking about and to my surprise you have District attorney's watching your channel!
Was going to purchase the matco 12v 3/8 impact is it worth the money? I'm thinking you have the 12v 1/4? The gun I'm looking at is the new brushless one
My dealer said he has to wait on the new brushless 861 because it’s only available go order in packages with a bunch of other crap that he doesn’t want.
Then you get the idiots whom overtighten oil filters so tight they don't come off easy. Those oil filter socket sets,I have the 17 piece K Tool International set made out of steel I bought from my local Parts Plus auto parts store.Has come in handy buying it about 3 years ago for $60.00.
Ok I got a Q I bought a solus legend at a pawn shop for $700 what's the difference from it and the edge ? I noticed the obd2 lights up and it does motorcycles?
I went on snap on web site and registered it in my name they got my email phone and address . I guess they will be contacting me if it's not paid off I probably should text my snap on guy.
23:28 Hamilton said he don't care............I'd bet he'd change his mind right quick if someone showed up with a mega-shit ton of pennies to buy that tool box.
Im a little late to this vid but... i have yet to meet a oil filter wrench that can beat a HMMWV oil filter. Hercules himself is at the factory putting them on.
Hey Clay! Wondering if you could ask the Michael the matco guy tomorrow by chance if he is shown how able to get me a 3/4 extendable ratchet HANDLE, just the handle I need just the handle part of it and my matco guy quoted me over $340 for just the handle.. super frustrating because that’s more then the ratchet itself..
