Love the demonstration. Rigid conduit work at the refinery is destroying my Knipex and Thanos groove pliers. 😭😭

Just bought the 14 1/2 today. Is the head suppose to have some play? The teeth don’t align unless I force them to

I've had the same tool for years and it's completely useless. Literally LMAOed when I saw you hold the recoil...you could do that with a leatherman. But, glad to see they work good on a bolt, held in a vise...never tried that.

Bahco makes some excellent tools and if you can swing it definitely go that route. However, if you're in a pinch and tight budget Harbor Freight sells the Swedish Style Pipe wrench that is this style and the work great. I repeat, the HF ones are not Bahco and won't hold up like the quality Bahco ones, but if you're on a budget they do work. Like most mechanics I have used the cheaper tools until I could afford the better ones.

Harbor Freight’s Icon just released a replica of this wrench, 21” 17” and 12” 4 weeks ago they have quick adjust and the 21” is only $35 while the 12” is $20. You should check them out

@@TheDurbinCompound This is my favorite wrench, Bahco 31 R US Industrial Grade Alligator Adjustable Wrench. It comes with an extra feature, the "alligator" V-jaw on wrench that has aggressively angled teeth for sure grip on pipes and rounded fasteners. www.zoro.com/snap-on-industrial-brands-bahco-alligator-adjustable-wrench-31-r-us/i/G7620247/ The alligator wrench was patented 1922, that is 100 years ago ... skiftnyckeln.blogspot.com/p/hajnycklar_31.html The opening is reduced by the design of the jaw ends in order to prevent the key from being used on coarser pipes than it is intended for. The best thing with Bahco tools is that the quality is so great that they last for your remaining life time without loosing the precision and strength. I have never in my lifetime broken a Bahco tool :-)

Nice review, but you could’ve stuck anything in there and turned it over, a screwdriver, a stick, your ratchet. 2:48

Have been around for probably 100 years in Europe. Bacho invented it and was also first with the "modern" design of adjustable wrenches (before Cresent). The plier wrench and adjustable wrenches from Bacho are probably on par with Snap-On quality (at least before when they were Swedish made). This plier wrench is primarily a pipe wrench, used by plumbers. Hardly any other tool can grip pipes as strongly as this wrench. It is also very good for other types of pipe fittings. Much stronger than a channellock. But not as good as an open ended spanner for nuts and bolts. Knipex probably makes better channellocks and other pliers but not these type of pipe wrenches.
