TUTORIAL STARTS AT 1:10 ! I'm talking up to that point.
Keyboard : Yamaha DGX-220. Voice: (089) Syn Bras
This song is probably one of the easiest to play yet it sounds great, I thought it would be good for people who
have a keyboard but lost interest and put it away so now they can dig it back out and give this song a try.
Playing this song will give you a great sense of accomplishment and inspire for more. In the vid you can see
a few different variations that the song could be played.
OK After watching the vid., it looks like the audio got shifted in the youtube uploading process. I will keep that in mind for future vids.and put the audio slightly ahead of the video : (

I really like the last part of your version of the song, where you rock your left hand back and fourth hitting the same keys in a different octave. It sounds really nice!

The HouseMsk is a standard style on the DGX-220. ( #034) At least on mine! You're welcome and I'm glad some of you guys can use this.

Hi! First play each hand separately until very comfortable with it and you figured out what fingers you're gonna use and in what order. Then slow it waaay down and go step by step. Example if your trouble is right at the start then keep playing AAAA with left hand and try to insert ECDC at the same time with your right. If still problematic then take a sheet of paper and put this on it A (left) E (right) A C A D A C play each line. Let me know : )

Thanks for the vid tutorial. lol, yea, Ive had my Yamaha DJX stuffed away in a cupboard for a few years and have recently dragged it out again, dusted it off, its kinda funny to hear it playing proper tunes now, haha, its much easier to learn from seeing it being done than it is to learn from a book..

I tried Maxx and it is fairly easy to play but I have not found a way of playing it where it would not sound so goofy on my keyboard. Once I figure out a way to make it sound better I will make a video of it as it has been on my list for a while now. Cheers!

Hey MrDennis! Sorry I'm not sure what sound it was but a close guess would be 089 SynBrass. Not much space in the dgx-220 to save settings so I keep having to erase old ones to make room for new.

Thanks! Yes Yamaha DGX-220 Voice: 089 "Syn Bras" I guess it stands for synth brass. Also there is a shed load of reverb cranked in and the touch sensetivity HAS to be turned on. It turnes the keyboard sounds into a totally different animal!

Hey Snowwie! The way I do my videos since I figured this method out for better sound is: I record with the camera and with audacity in my PC at the same time. Then I make an mp3 out of the audio. I then import both the video footage and the mp3 ( audio) into movie maker and synchronize them. That becomes my video to upload to Y.T. Movie maker does indeed compress the file size but I only noticed the sound shifting in two of my videos after uploading to Y.T.

pretty darn close. but you seem to be skipping the notes that are an octave lower on the right hand. Pretty sure the main high right hand riff actually goes e5 c5 d5 c5 f3 f4 a4 f4 g3 g4 b4 g4 a3 a4 c5 a4 while the left hand goes a2 a2 a2 a2 f2 f2 f2 f2 g2 g2 g2 g2 a2 a2 a2 a2 a2 a2 a2 a2 c3 c3 c3 c3 b2 b2 b2 b2 a2 a2 a2 a2 with small taps (you did get that right :) ) now just slap some delay on it that goes twice as fast as you are playing, and now you are cooking.

PLEASE get an FullHD cam, sorry, but the video quality is not so nice. the micro sound is awful. But your work is so Great. Within 2 minutes I could play the first sounds free with my hands :-) Which keyboard did you use?
