PANTHOR109 Tha best jla/avengers is considered canon and the scene where darkseid throws the infinity gauntlet away is from this specific crossover event so it’s canon as well to both marvel and dc. Proof to this being considered canon is both use and mention events from this crossover in main timeline (ie: cosmic egg, various skirmishes between heroes etc....)
@@Andres_Acosta thats called refrencess And the cosmic egg is just an idea taken it. The various skirmishes are just people trying to sell one offs. So many stories including major ones would have to be invalidated to make it canon. Spiderverse,Final and infinite crisis, Secret wars. Etc.

BTW, Darkseid is constant and unchanging, no matter how many reboots he goes through, or what series he stars in. So technically... this death battle is canon.
@@SpectralStar I believe it's primarily because of pop culture that this kind of happened with everyone underestimating Darkseid. I mean think about his portrayel in Superman: The Animated Series and the Justice League Animated series... he was extremely nerfed and didn't even have the ability to fly on his own. Then again, Darkseid has always been far more of a schemer than anything else. In fact, one of the things he is known as his own nature is literally scheming and if he cannot scheme, he is just not Darkseid. Even if he loses he just would stare at the heroes with a bored expression and just turn away and say to himself, "Next time." It's kind of one of the reasons why the new 52 movies are so bad with their portrayal of Darkseid, he's not a run of the mill supervillain, he is basically the nemesis of the entire DC Multiverse. The problem though with him being in a Death Battle is that if you kill Darkseid, you also kill the multiverse, because his very existence is the opposite of the source. It's one of the reasons why High Father of the New Gods is directly connected with the Source, so much so that he actively communes with it so as to get messages on what to do in order to counter Darkseid's every move. An example being Fatherbox's vs. Motherbox's. The former is connected to Darkseid directly, the latter being connected to the Source.

If you think about it Thanos lost the way he always does, he made a mistake through hubris. This time it was following Darksied through the portal, in the original infinity gauntlet series it was leaving his body (and the Gauntlet) behind to take over for Eternity and not protecting his body with a barrier.
Pre-crisis Superman is the Superman created by Siegel and Shuster. He was in DC stories from 1939 till 1986 during the Crisis On infinite earths comic event. That Superman founded the JSA and JLA as well as did shit like sneeze a solar system away. He was absurd in his abilities. And Darkseid basically owned his ass
Not just solar systems. Pre-Crisis Superman could literally sneeze whole UNIVERSES out of existence. Before any of you say this is wank and I’m making this up, Pre-Crisis Superman survived the BIG BANG, which itself is a believed to be a normally universe level event.
Ok I watched a debunking of the death battle they nerfed Thanos and darksied a lot, they said Thanos is around 11D without the stones or cosmic cube and also said darksied would destroy him higher durability actually has irrelevant speed he's stronger than him he has the omega beams which can disintegrate him as already stated amungst other things they nerfed Thanos's durability which is true saying he's at max star level durability wise which he has shown many times to be above universal durability wise but darksied can just destroy reality and stuff like that, he has also beat up to someone who almost killed the presence DC's equivalent to God
Darkseid would slaughter all of them with ease, his existence erasure is significantly better than Zeno’s, and none of them can affect his true self in the slightest since True Darkseid is an abstract being and exists on a higher dimensional scale.
@@sadlobster1 Then it'd be incredibly difficult, but depending on the powers said abstract being has, I still honestly see Darkseid winning cause despite being a truly horrible being, he's a literal force needed for balance in the DC multiverse cause he's the literal god of evil.

Lee Mathew if darkseid is the most powerful villain of all time why didn’t his omega beams work on galactus. That would mean he is not omnipotent. Plus once again like on the other page when I stated and you can look this up for yourself...the new gods are not the OG’s the eternals are which again come from marvel the creator of the Eternals jack Kirby created them first then after leaving marvel went to DC and created darkseid and the new gods get your facts together MR OG moron
