I watch every video you do even though I only do 3D printing and I have no laser machines. I would love to see a video going over the differences between a diode and CO2 laser machine. Thanks for all you do.
I keep wanting to get a laser, but my workshop walls are at max capacity for exhaust ports, I would get a CO2 laser, but again I have no where to exhaust to. I keep trying to come up with a way to do it, but all options would violate code of distance from fresh air intake locations. Love the reviews though, by far the best and most through review channel for hobby machines on YT.
@@AuroraTech ok..I went to their website to see it better but no close ups. I looked like it was a linear motor...but you did not mention any thing about that so I was curious but both you and them did say linear rail...not motor. Thanks. PCBs can be made on any laser cutter. You scuff up the board blank so paint will stick, paint it, laser away the paint in the desired pattern, submerge the board in iron chloride to remove unprotected copper, rinse away the etchant, and finally dissolve the paint in acetone. You can also etch hole centers for easy drilling. A double sided board can have user labels ethed on the front and solder pads on the back to make a switch panel. I don't know about 0.25mm though.
