That Snapper you got at 18:45 - perfect size! Exactly what I target, 30 - 40cm. And throw the big ones back, as they're the breeding fish.

Who tells you this crap. Snapper over 35cm, to 55cm, as they have about 50 years of breeding to come. the snapper over 60cm only have a few years breeding left.

@@MarketingStrategies28 Good to know. As I've never caught one over 60cm, I'll worry about it when it happens. In the meantime, I'll continue keeping and eating the 30-40cm, based on them being about the right size to feed 2 people.

I laughed at that as well. My light setup is 8lb braid and a 6lb leader. And unless I am going for mulloway/sharks I top out at 20lb land based (j braid expedition).

mate! the best remedy for a severe ear infection is taking your piss and applying 10 drops and a cotton ball before bedtime and I swear the infection will completely pour out your ear and into the cotton ball by morning! My mother is 75% Cherokee Indian!

Get yourself some diving boots and add some extra rubber underneath and get a diving knife to wear on your ankle. The knife is for sharks, saved the life of a friend whose kayak was attacked by a shark. Stay away from areas where there are seals on the rocks.

baits are too small for the big Snaps... here in NZ a whole Skipjack Tuna (Bonito) head is not considered too large for a 20lb plus Snap.

Some minor feedback - when you use a stereo mic and it only picks up your voice on one channel it can be really aggravating to listen to on headphones (like at 26:20) and you might lose some viewers. You can switch to a mono mic for voice capture, or in your editing app use crossfeed to balance one channel over to the other side (in this case it was only in the left channel). Tight lines!

@@gidosfishingadventures Yeah. If you listen on TV / speakers / phone it doesn't matter so much because you have natural fill. But if you notice it and want to easily fix it in post, either manually pick the L or R audio channel for that track. Or you can use effects like 'fill R with L'. This is my ted talk.
