Snare Drum Battle - High Noon Showdown Drumline Competition 

There was definitely a crowd favorite for that dude in the black hoodie. No disrespect, he got talent, but my man in the middle was more clean, diverse, and confident. But this was fun to watch.

The first guy in the light blue, the 2 guys in all black, and the last guy all have amazing chops. It's obvious that they are far more advanced than the rest of the field. All in all that entire line up would make one hell of a drum line. Keep it up ladies and gentlemen. Outstanding.

The guy in the middle was for sure the winner. Innovative and technically sound. The side were good, but not innovative in the least.

I was hoping to see some stick tricks and versatility...I liked the guy with the dreads

Actually I think everyone here has no idea what they are talking about, the guy one the end, on the right side should have one, he started with some basic stuff but in the final round he did a 16th note grid with a double cheese (a flam and then a flam on a fiddle with two taps after) and that on its own is really damn hard and he deserves much more credit than he was given

Agreed, the middle should have one for numerous reasons. Dude in the black hoodie should have been 2nd and the dude on the end should have fell out that second round IMO when he goofed.

Lesson number 1, snares are to low and are supposed to be leveled up to the belly button which is the correct position of the snare , with that you’ll get better playing ability and strengthen arm muscles but remember your arms stay in one position and the only thing moving is your hands from your wrists to your fingers hope this helps happy holidays

Kid on the the had the best balance and stick control, even though he did a warm up in a battle. Middle guy was really good but a bit sloppy. Left guy thought speed would win. Rolls sounded buzzez. I wonder how he would have sounded at a slower tempo. I give the win to the guy on right in my opinion. But, how do you have judges but let the crowd decide? I wonder if the judges ever played snare. Anyway, all did good. Great job guys

Guy in black definitely got chops and deserved the win. However, if the kid on the right were to speed up the tempo, that would’ve been impressive and he would’ve won

Guy in the middle should have won. He was way cleaner and the rhythms he hit were more diverse and astonishing. He didn't have to prove that speed was key, but the rhythm and beat were key. The third round performance by the kid in the middle left me shook.

uhhhhh okay. Im in drumline and Im lead snare and a lot of these are basic warm up rhythms that we use. The people that go later are more experienced and diverse but the first 4 ppl at least were just doing basic things
