Great video, I'm really curious about your hi-hat. Which brand and size is that?

The hihats are 16" Istanbul Agop series. Buttery and dark!

Can't see any logo, is it 30th anniversary?

@@suheru it’s literally the Agop line of cymbal. Or sometimes called the Signature line. The ones with the green label.

Hi great video, can you tell me what the damper is that you use.

That’s called the Snare Weight. It’s a leather strap with a magnetic clip to clip to the rim and you can flip it up for an open tone or flip it down for a muffled tone. Also you can fold the leather in half on either side and use less dampening that way. I love it!

You mentioned in the beggining of the video that it holds its tune very well, then at a lower tuning it is going down in pitch... Is it only because of the low tension? Seems strange because 8 lugs must be tighter relative to the same pitch of a 10 lug drum.

Yeah I think it was dropping in pitch because it was still settling into that lower tuning and each time I hit it, it was dropping slightly. Kinda funny actually. But after a few hits, it settled into the new lower tuning. I think it was just because the head had been tuned up higher for so long and it just needed a few seconds to settle into the lower tuning. Thanks for watching!
