How is it that I can periodically revisit this video, every 6 months or so, after learning and digesting so much music, and be EQUALLY as floored at how incredible this band is from top to bottom
"Snarky Puppy, right, that cat on guitar on FLOOD. Live, Asheville, North Carolina. Tell you what, that intro that cat plays on FLOOD, that got him laid for the rest of his life. Dig it hard and dig it good, smokin' hot babes are groovin' with that cat, brother. Most cool." Overheard on a flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles, January 18, 2019.
Yeah dude.. I totally understand that it could have been worse. I didn't mean any offense in my comment - I apologize if it came over that way. I was just wishing the the horns, etc, were a bit louder. :)
So many things awesome about this! The way it was recorded gives this crazy nostalgic feel. The music matches perfectly. Mark’s intro was pure silk... even when the ignorant spectator ran her mouth, he was still money. Mike and Sput at 7:48...🤯. Awesome vid!
Within the first two minutes if you're not captivated by the beauty of his style, you must be one of the folks who were talking away. Can't blame it, alcohol makes people wanna scream, but damn how can you just not pay attention that sound?
Then you have the Bass angel, enjoying his instrument and making my heart trip a bit faster. Magnificent the whole mix. Thanks stargate669 for sharing this Gem with me. Sooooo love it........
+Mark Lettieri Hahahaha, that bit is so funny! You smashed the solo man. Still listen to this video all the time. I like that you're really high in the mix of this vid actually, the pocket is deeeep
Barry2theB Sir thanks for recording and keeping it here on RU-vid. I’ve been coming back to this vid for a couple years and I’ve memorized many parts of this and your other videos. You’ve changed people’s lives with these recordings! Especially musicians.
sounds like they're playing a 4 time signature over the seven that they were originally playing in. the amount of concentration it takes to do that is just unbelievable
Did that woman really say "Hey Kenny G., wrap it up" @2:15 mark? Wtf is wrong with people, I can barely tolerate the multitude of inconsiderate casual conversations going on through this beginning of this masterpiece, but that's absolutely insane and she should be banned from attending live concerts for life for that comment.
Rogério Dec Dude...Its not meant to be the greatest mix. Just enjoy the show! A Zoom H6 on a tripod in front of me that's all there was. Maybe a cell phone would have been better right...smh
