The plaintiff is obviously under the delusional belief that he can do no wrong and everybody is out to get him. The reason the business uses the tow company is because they have had a real problem with this issue to the point that their customers have a hard time finding parking. I have a favorite coffee shop that I go to that has available parking for around 30 vehicles. There are times that I drive there and am lucky to find a spot to park in. I go inside and there might be 8 customers in the business. I can't help but think that they must lose several customers daily because of this.

The plaintiff's whole case is built around watching too much Law and Order and thinking that a parking violation is an intent crime: "I had no particular reason to believe . . . " Sorry, dude. Your belief doesn't matter one lick! Even got an affidavit to prove that there are other folks who don't believe it. When the hell does that matter, even in a criminal case? "Well, I didn't intend to kill him, so it ain't murder. Also, this random person off the street ALSO didn't intend to kill the victim, so definitely not murder!"

I park in the shopping center lot then take my laundry across the street. The spots for the laundromat are right off the street, I'd have to back into traffic when I leave. I usually go to the grocery store while the dryer's running, but so far as I know there's no sign restricting parking. If there was, I'd go to a different laundromat.

It's an unscrupulous practice. However, it's your job not to fall prey to it.

In reality, he was limiting air pollutants by not driving 20 feet to another parking lot. If the lot was full that would be another thing.

The tow truck man said they have 10 cameras! He said it’s to watch for crime, but they aren’t security! He already admitted that the shopping center has its own security company. The tow truck drivers sitting like vultures watching the cameras for their next victim. This is a reason why some people don’t like tow truck drivers. 😁

This is my least favorite of her usually brilliant cases .. she could’ve just said to the guy it doesn’t matter if the parking lot is empty if contracted with this guy and he’s doing his job. .. Instead of torturing him and us going back-and-forth .

I kind of see his point, so much space, and you can park there just because it doesn't belong to that specific complex.. unfortunately he speaks from the view of someone who lived in a time when cars were so big and wide, the land wasn't so congested, you could park anywhere and walk anywhere you wanted, no one protested, if this side is busy you'd park the other side and it was fine... now ppl put cameras to watch cars and their drivers waiting for them to make a slip up to punish them, just like governments employing the same tactics just to make a bit of money, not necessarily to make a place safer to prevent any damage.. just to make money that will go through the system.. I know a case where 2 fast food establishments side by side that punish customers if they parked in one space and went to the other, and in some cases the customers would go to both places but the tickets would be issued as soon as they stepped beyond a border line... 😂😂

I'm 100% with this man. This is ridiculous for any business enforcing this. If I go to Target and use their parking lot and literally next door is TJ Maxx, and on the other side is Petsmart. I'm walking to each store. No normal person gets in their vehicle to drive 50 feet into another parking space. Please. It's not like this guy parked his car at an isolated parking lot at bank and decided to leave the car there walk 10 min to Olive Garden for lunch.
