I saw on another homestead youtube, that coconut oil works great for flies on cows. Put some in a sprayer and rub it around. Worth a try, better than pesticides.

Water trough should never be dry, especially in this weather

Might check out cattle rubs for the flies just hang it in a opening to the barn they'll walk under it to rub their backs❤

It's nice and spicy here in Michigan also. Big difference from waking up to a cooler home to walk out the door and you can't hardly breathe. The little movement and your dripping in sweat. U do need a shop so u can work when it rains and storms but the main thing is a place to store wood and tools

Use a long stake painted white and put increments in footage and in inches place hit in the pond so you can read the depth that way you can find out how much water do you lose per day in evaporation and seepage😂❤

Animals look great, you will love the router bench...less stress on the body..when ever our cattle started licking other cows. Their mineral and salt blocks had dissappeared..time to buy more...hope nothing serious is wrong with the puppy..sometime they just pull a muscle......good luck at the vets...stay cool...

Get a 100 gal black water tote with a drain plug near the bottom for easy cleaning . My daughter's has them for her horses , works great.

It’s me again, sorry about you pup …. That just happened to our 3 yr old pup in April, he tore his ACL, pain meds, keeping him quiet as much as I could, had to keep him on a longline, no jumping etc and have him on a good joint supplemental chew. It was either that or surgery which cost $2000+. He limped around just like your baby. So hopefully that isn’t his issue, it’s a long recovery, Chantzie that’s my pups name took until the first of July before he was back to normal.

On another channel I watch they use coconut oil for flies. They swear it works better than fly spray.

Instead of putting chemicals on your animal put coconut oil I watched the video the other day and they were having fly problems on their dairy cow and they rubbed coconut oil on her an the flies wouldn't go near her.
