Also he really leads the women on way too much. He tells them both theyre the one for him and that he loves them and slept with both. When he breaks one's heart he has no one to blame but himself.

The bachelor franchise always does this, it's making it look like he's going to pick Leslie, it'll be Theresa, because everyone will be shocked and it adds all the drama and hype!

I couldn’t stand Teresa from the get go, but I think she is the one for him. I don’t think Leslie’s past lifestyle will allow her to settle in long term with such a humble guy as him. I think she will get bored quickly, and I think he knows it - I mean, for goodness sake, she was with Prince.

Why do so many commenters think that they know which lady is best for Gerry and how long it will last? These people are really total strangers and we only see what the producers want us to see, so there's no way that anyone can really know.

Throughout the show I did not like Theresa the best, but now I think she is the one for Gerry. She is more light hearted than Leslie and may be financially well off. Leslie is fit, pretty and nice, but she always seems depressed and sad. I think Gerry tried to cheer her up and went too far saying she might be the one.

I miss Whit and Ry so much! I just kept hearing their laughter and their voices in my head reacting to poor Gary😂! Please come back!

The conversations that Gerry and Leslie had throughout the show were not really that interesting. Leslie asked Gerry how long has it been since he had sex, a long time ago, he replied. Leslie's replied was a year ago. Nothing was interesting about their conversations. However, with Theresa the conversation she had about how she started her business made Gerry smile and wanting to hear more. Theresa has more going for her and can make Gerry happier. May the best lady be happily ever after.

The best plot twist is that he proposes to both of them and he goes on sister’s wife

I think it’s Theresa and has been since the start. After both having been married for so long with their spouses, then losing them, there is an underlying compassion & understanding of what they both experienced; an immediate comfort. His daughters probably agree that the nurturing of Gerry began when he & Theresa first met. Easy to adjust to a second wife and easier to blend their understandings of what life they shared but with other people. Gerry probably feels he can be who he is with Theresa and at his age not have to woo & do tricks to impress her.

Would love to see Leslie as the Golden Bachelorette. She deserves a hunk.

Leslie is so pretty and Theresa is sweet. I feel sorry for either that doesn’t get a proposal. Ugh💔

ABC loves to edit in a way to throw the audience off. I think he chooses Theresa in the end, but I’m not so sure he proposes to her. Maybe they just date. I do think Leslie is going to be pretty heartbroken, but because of all her television exposure, she’ll meet some nice guy in Minneapolis. This is just my theory.

I think each of the Golden Bachelorettes (who introduced the world to the Golden Generation's single people) should have their own Golden Bachelorette show if they are open to it. At this stage of their lives, these Golden Ladies shouldn't have to go through life without Love. Gerry set the bar high. He taught younger (wo)men what it means to have thoughtful relationships. There were some really deep intense feelings left hanging without closure. There may not be much more time left for these ladies to experience another deep commitment in their lives like there is for the younger bachelorettes. I think Bachelor Nation should offer each of these Golden Bachelorettes their own show.

Theresa has more in common with Gerry. She is a widow. Leslie is twuce divorced. That's a big deal. Theresa is more age-appropriate. In the real world, they are not going to be riding horses or rappelling down mountains. I think Gerry & Theresa live quieter lives. Leslie wants more fun & adventure. She'll also very needy. Gerry may want to play protector, but fir how long? Theresa is more independent. I'm nit her viggest fan fir sure, but as far as the best mstch fir Gerry, out of all the women, I think Theresa is probably the best suited. Faith would have been the one, but there was no way she was giving up that ranch. Their lifestyles were just too opposite. Love doesn't always conquer all when your older and more settled with extended family and commitments.

I think Leslie could be the best Golden Bachelorette. And she be great on DWTS. For that reason he should pick Theresa.

This sneak peak breaks my brain a little bit, I am of the opinion that Gerry breaks up with Leslie the night before the final rose ceremony. That’s all the emotional stuff we see with Gerry where he’s crying. I think that happens after he breaks Leslie’s heart late at night after coming to her room. But then I see a clip of her in a beautiful blue dress which I would think they shot that right before the final rose ceremony. So I guess I don’t know. I guess he breaks up with her at the final rose ceremony? I don’t know if that’s typical but the plot I have in my head didn’t account for this.

Was that the rear view of Leslie walking away? If that footage was, in fact, from the upcoming finale, her walk seems to suggest unhappiness or disappointment. Just to throw off views, though, it might have been a cut from a prior episode.

Gerry is more of an intellectual type, Leslie is not! She is more emotional & needy & no "depth" to her, but she is a kind person. 🤷‍♀️ He will pick Theresa, she is much more interesting & "has it all together" & has some "depth" to her & seems kind & outgoing as well.
