For me the sneaker of the year has to be at least somewhat accessible to the masses, people need to actually get the sneaker in hand and wear it; the Dior's just aren't attainable but they are iconic.

Love it!!!!! Shame you done the list so early. Could still have some surprising releases. Dunk of the year for me is strange love. Jordan of the year is off white 4. New balance of the year for me is the 650 no vacancy Inn. Materials are another level. And just look super clean. But I'm loving the dunk high turdunken right now. Spot on.

How can you choose the 992s over the ALD 550s...they bugged out lol. Personally I think the Craziest Drop this year were the 420 reverse Skunk Dunks. Limited to 420 pairs the special packaging was ridiculous and they dropped on the 10 year anniversary. It’s a simple color flip but it’s nails the essence of the theme and the execution is just masterful

Complex should seriously consider making two lists in the future. Every sneaker on this list is something that is too exclusive and expensive for most people who are not celebrities, wealthy, or have a plug to a sneaker company or designer to obtain. Keep this list, but do a second a list of the top 10 sneakers that are more practical such as Jordans, Yeezys, Kobes, LeBrons, Dunks, etc that more people can obtain for under $500 on the resale market. Watching this feels like watching the Oscars and Grammys when they judges nominate films and albums that the masses have not seen or listened to.
