@@csgogetfucced5043 the French should be used to speaking French I can read French just fine, but when it comes to listening, my brain shuts off and the only word I hear is "bonjour"
@@RandomIsNotAvailable Leaving it at the museum would have been better to see how many days it would stay up. If he had to go back to London, he should have befriended someone locally there to show up at the museum each day and film it until the painting was taken down.
There's soo many RU-vidrs putting "I put my own Painting next to the mona lisa in a museum" or smth in their video titel.. But NONE of them have actually done it.. They put paper paintings into the museums Toilet because they were too scared.. But what YOU ARE doing, is a MASTERPIECE.. You're the only RU-vidr I know in history, that doesn't do clickbait AT ALL and does so crazy things.. Man, you're the BEST
Yeh its rare especially with the kind of responsibility these guys have but I guess they are professional enough to see what's an innocent joke to a real danger to their jobs
@@jochemoltvoort1382 oh yeah lots of youtubers have already done similar stunts before sneaking art into museums. aiirack, 4fun, Danny Duncan did it five years ago, etc. not really a new idea.
"You cannot leave le Louvre with a piece of AART!" said the man. Many movies have been made to replicate such a feat. Yet Niko seamlessly did it with a casual in & out stroll lmao
This is unbelievable! I still remember when I went to see the Louvre, easily one of the most crowded places I've ever seen. I was almost impossible to even take a good picture of La Joconde, let alone sneaking things around!
Ok but can we talk about the person who actually made the Handsome Lisa, their artwork was displayed in one of the most coveted art galleries in the world even if it was only for a day.
@@misa_rc more like "damn that was one of the few not-so-boring days 😃" that job was boring as heck, and literally any little disturbance was a blessing
@@JayJayGirl26 the opposite, meaning boring days are the best for these workers, do you think that they worked as a security guard in a museum so they would explore the world?, it's a boring job for a bad paycheck, that's like 90% of people
As a massive fan of Lupin, I love the books and the Netflix series is my favourite of all time, the inspiration (and the whole ripping off of Assane’s signature look from the show) made me smile so much. Le travail d'un véritable gentleman cambrioleur moderne !
The incredible thing is that if you now auctioned off this painting, you could make the claim it hung in the Louvre in the same room as the Mona Lisa and you'd be right. Further, I'm guessing just this fact alone would make the price for the painting to be around 100,000
heyyy great video ! as a parisian i would like to add some little things ; there is no modern art in the louvre because everything is in another famous museum: Pombidou, nearby. So don’t worry every art is represented in Paris !
If I was her (the artist) I would forever put on my resumé, bio, portfolio whatever that I had a piece of my art displayed in The Louvre; it would be a great conversation starter, for sure. 😂
I'm so pleasantly surprised with how well the security handled it when the found out niko put the painting up, they knew it was a harmless joke and even took photos of him with it. Honestly love it, thank you French security for not putting niko in French prison
When security or police takes photos of you if for report or banning you from the Etablissement not because they like it, its the protocol here in France
Jokes aside that painting could potentially be an extremely valuable artpiece in the future due to this event and it being featured in this particular video which is also already an artpiece on its own on nikos side. Crazy how this stuff works lets see how it unfolds in a couple decades
@@drenx87 Hang it on a wall is a good idea and it's not gonna took much space plus if he gonna sell it, with those crazy subscribers trust me he's gonna make a lot of money
Imagine if in many years time that painting does get put up with the story of it being snuck into the museum once in the past. That would be legendary lol.
Bloody hell is there anything this man can’t get away with!? He literally managed to get a painting into the highest security museum in the world and only get a warning!😂
I would have definitely let them keep it in the museum under the conditions they kept it up for everyone to see that was a cool painting not gonna lie lol.
I don’t get how you literally tell staff you put up the painting like 5 times and they still don’t catch on 😂 this man is the definition of hiding in plain sight
The Louvre staff were awesome. They respected the art in a weird way. Not sure if they banned you. It didn't sound like it. You honestly should have left the painting there. You could have kept on saying you have a painting there.
Honestly everyone in this video was so cool. The cops were really chill about it, the staff were too, and same with all the museum goers. Not a single tense interaction. Just good vibes.
It seems like the French can appreciate a good joke, if you did that in the US you'd probably end up in Prison for years because everyone in this Country is so uptight that someone could say "I'm hungry" and you could respond with the joke "hi Hungry, I'm Dad" and they would find a way to be offended then attempt to end your entire career.
@warewolf914 So you think it's hilarious to mock someone for being hungry, something they can't control? You laugh at human suffering and think you're better for it? You make me sick
@@msjordanndasilva4879 I think you underestimate the scale of the louvre. You're looking at 9.6 million visitors in 2019 alone, and most people who are interested in high art aren't kids who watch youtube videos. The french are also good at taking a joke
In Italy we claim that the Mona Lisa is rightfully ours since DaVinci painted it, and we blame the French for taking it away from us (we even have literal stadium chants about this story). I always thought it was just a joke, but then I saw how they tried to steal the Handsome Lisa in plain daylight from you. I guess some people never change lmaoo
The only Italian who want to have the Mona Lisa back are the one who don’t know that DaVinci gave it himself as a gift to the king of France François the 1st when he invited him to come to France to end his life over here. Why do you think DaVinci is buried in the Loire valley in France ?
Nah is horrible. As an artist myself, I can tell the painting has no love and care put into it. It's trying to make a joke with the great work from Da Vinci which is honestly insulting in a way
@@blu_lennox Bullcrap. His stuff is nothing but a mockery of trying to be a joke. You might as well said a rough out of proportion stickman is great. If you don't put real love and care, your work will not look good genuinely.
@@MZhris no you wouldn’t. I’ll be under your bed watching you try to email him, not knowing of the tacks. I stuck to your chair laced with poison.
