Agreed. He is in pain. I tagged a button buck a couple years ago because some asshole shot him in his rear leg. Hit him right at the nuckle (knee technically) mid way up his leg.

When deer get that old their back molars they use to chew cud get worn down so they are unable to get nutritional value from food so they starve to death, or weakn state get ate alive that's it. So hunting these older animals is really beneficial to nature. If you had a choose starving to death eatn alive or shot which would you choose. Just trying to educate so use common sense and not all feelings.

Yep I get it but look how fat he was and besides having a bum leg he was doing great. Her decision to let him finish life on his own terms was cool with me. I'd of whacked him most likely myself but that has no baring on anything anyway. There's no wrong answer here. FYI he's still alive and doing well.

Great shot on that nice buck. How can ya'll sneak up on game like that without spooking them? Can you do a teaching video telling us exactly how to properly stalk game? I met a hunter once who only stalks but didn't learn much from him, other than to make a deer call to ease them. It basically tricks them to think it's just another deer walking in the woods. That's before they see you though. I'm sure the natives had stalking mastered as well.

Notice. Also in Finland we have a white tail deers. Imported from Virginia beginning of 1930. Last hunting season was best ever 53 000 hunted animals. Also in Czech is small population.
