That last 'Glastonbury, please let me back' sounded really heartfelt. I felt like the first 'prank' that got him blacklisted was genuinely devastating and he didn't realise that'd be the consequence as it got out of hand, so has to think of more and more elaborate ways to get inside but probably secretly wishes he could just buy a ticket like normal like he always had done for years. Though skits like this isn't going to help convince them I think.

YES! That was nuts. Just from being inside the giraffe, that was crazy dangerous already. Now being transported in a truck, inside a giraffe, that's really really dangerous
You could have probably just put on a high-vis vest and sat in the front with the driver. Stewards would've assumed you were part of the giraffe logistics team.
after spending 12 years hitchiking and traveling, doing festival and music tour and scenes... i can confirm something... the more secure and big the festival... the easier it is to sneak in... I have never NOT gotten into a place I was trying to
Not strictly true, if you’re trying to jump the fence glastonbury is very difficult, there’s so many patrols and a double fence system. But I tend to agree most places are easier than you think given a bit of planning
bro, i snuck into bonaroo with a basket of candy and a hitchiked ride in, I got the dude with a ticket to take this random side road.. every checkpoint he showed his ticket, and I offered the person some candy from a basket that was in the car.... we went through 6 or 7 checkpoints and pulled right into the middle of the thing.... when they get so big.... finding an exploit is so much easier, if you just think out of the box like you did... great video btw, i didnt mean to make it sound like I was diminishing what you did! it was a great idea and IMO proves my point even more!! @@ZacAlsop
Zac sneaking into glastonbury is so iconic, i watched the one where he sneaked under the bridge a couple weeks back, this has to be a yearly thing or maybe finding a bigger festival if one exists 😂
As someone who stewards at Glastonbury we are generally told it's security's job to deal with people sneaking in, I'm not about to snitch on people and I think few are especially if they've gone to such effort to get in. I feel like the driver was like... Yep that's not my business lol ...
The scary thing is knowing that giraffe could have been filled with powerful and dangerous explosives and used for a terrorist attack, meanwhile security just let it straight through with no checking.
I had such bad second hand anxiety with this video. The thought of being locked in a fucking boiling giraffe and not being able to get out.. never in a million years. You are a legend but please keep safety in mind.
As someone who snuck into festivals quite a lot in my day, this was genius. Download 05 I literally just lifted up one of those crappy metal fence panels and waltzed right in. Found a ticket stub, told the front guards id lost my wristband in a pit, job done.

There was this one guy in Finland who tried to sneak in to a festival by pretending to be a duck 😂. He had the fake duck on his head and was swimming from somewhere else to the festival grounds like that.
This could have been extremely dangerous if the delivery van got into an accident. You can't get get and nobody knows you're in there, what if it caught fire?

I would NEVER I already think I have claustrophobia and right after they drilled him inside the giraffe I was Panicking even though I Was Not the one inside it.
I had a market stall there one year and around 12 mates came down too, without tickets or a plan. We went with the Scooby Doo method. We picked a quiet gate, and ALL 12 of them hid behind the trailer as I drove slowly up. Then as one, they shuffled round to the far side staying hidden till I fully blocked the security box. I then distracted the security by misunderstanding their directions (the disappointingly short “Straight ahead mate”) and all of them just slipped by and blended with the tents. It was so dumb, it worked. That year we also blagged a Mobile Vehicle Pass (ultra gold dust) the vehicle I’d borrowed was done out like a rescue vehicle, so no one ever questioned or stopped us, and we got to drive all over Glastonbury in a Range Rover. I taught my little sister to do donuts in one particularly muddy field. And I had an Orange Flashie Light. 😀 I’ve just read that all back and honestly I’d not blame you for calling BS, but it’s not.
