Nice story. In college, I lived next to the university golf course in an apartment bordering #17. I could go through the fence and play a 6 hole loop well outside the vision of the clubhouse. I played 6 or 12 holes most days and never paid a dime.
We lived across the street from Sharp Park golf course. There was a hole in the fence that only the neighbors knew about. My son ended up being a very good golfer.
I grew up not being able to afford to play but lived a block away I walked on and played so much. They thought I was a member. So I knew the staff rotation and just avoided the one manager that would give me trouble. Now 16 years later I coach the golf team and get free membership lol
Which went to show your crappy coach could have done the same thing you did legit But was either too lazy or pompous to help you guys out A friend and I got arrested for tresspassing back when we were on our high school golf team At age 70 I sneak on ,still, whenever I can
In college, all he did was impersonate his coach, not sure that's criminal. The pros were happy to accomodate them. Sneaking on, however is a misdemeanor.
B. Gates got a contract for software even though he didn't know how to write code. He said he climbed in dumpsters outside of IBM to steal code.Let him know he should give his billions back. Hard to get rich honestly.
No doubt it was rule to keep your mouth shut. "If you do it again I'm going to pull your scholarship." I would have explained that to the big mouth in the team and to everyone else. Nothing worse than committing a crime and then having someone break the code of silence.
