Filmed in August 2023 during a family vacation in Puerto Rico. I'm unsure if you're allowed to fish the golf course ponds, so I don't condone doing what I did.
Also, I don't know how these fish got in these ponds since there's no connecting waterways or tunnels to the ocean or nearby river.

What an awesome species. I hear they are crazy strong. Would love to catch one. Actually, I would love to just be able to fish a golf course once.

Thanks for the sub! Yeah those ponds are loaded. I barely scratched the surface. Somebody showed me pics of 5-6 pound peacocks from there.

The rods were st croix triumph and fenwick hmx. And reels were pflueger president and pflueger purist
