Hudson Soft: "We're making another Adventure Island game. This one's 'Super', so feel free to punch it up a little bit. But not by much because it's still Adventure Island." Yuzo: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh yes! I was just gonna mention that. Like Streets Of Rage etc, it has tracks and styles similar to popular music from the era. Definitely well thought out and produced with care and skill.
Lmao omg im 42 now and this game gave me alot of memories especially one with my mom and my cousin shouting ecouragement over my shoulder while me close to having a heart attack my palms sweaty from all the button mashing....RIP mom love you
@@johnbakasmoothhotchocolate Super Adventure Island 2 is the very definition of a hidden gem on the SNES. Own that one Complete in Box in my collection, and I love it.
@@yusakug that's awesome! I'm looking to get the emulation of it. It's like a Metroidvania mixed with RPG elements, and the story really makes you want to play to the end. It's nice to meet you and beautiful pfp you have, too.
@@edwardgaines6561 yeah the sequel is more fleshed out and not short like the first was. The sequel isn't even really that hard, it's just where to find certain objects at does take some time.
Funny enough the first Wonder Boy and Adventure Island games were reskins of each other, but both of them took wildly different paths (and both also had Yuzo Koshiro do music for an entry of them, I believe for Wonder Boy it was Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom? A pretty new one actually!)
