The Super Bomberman series is weird. 1 is a classic Bomberman experience with detailed graphics, 2 expands on 1 with more interesting level design filled with mazes and puzzles, 3 is basically a semi-remake of Bomberman '94, 4 is like a weird hybrid between 2 and 3, and 5 is Sonic Generations a decade before Sonic Generations. And then only 1 and 2 have the same artstyle, and 2 is the only one that doesn't remix music from the Turbografx-16 games. Either way, you can't go wrong with Bomberman, unless it's Act Zero.

Something something chivalry afraid to hurt a girl? Not sure. Bomberman Generation does something similar where Bomberman sheds a tear for Bomber Elite, but the excuse there is he’s a genuinely nice dude.

Figured out a good strategy for the boss before the eye. Set up a barricade of bombs that you can detonate around the 3 silver boxes in the right corner to not let the skulls get you and when the main guy closes in on you then you just throw a bomb at him. Rinse repeat.
why did they go back to the original formula after this game? imo, this was the best bomberman game by far. they should have stuck with all the changes they introduced in this game.

maybe it is something with your emulator, but I remember the gameplay of this game being much more smooth, I mean, higher fps. But anyways, I could be bullshiting
I swear on one playthrough when pretty bombers sun thing dies. It disappeared and After that pretty was controlling it shocker ... I put a bomb right next to her before she dies. Then I just said ... "I killed a woman" 31:10
if u say that because rooies then don't say that because they are the best thing that could ever happen to everyone also sb3 looks like a nes game but it still has good bgs like battle settings
3-5 harken back to the graphical style of Bomberman 94, likely the most beloved Bomberman game in Japan besides the Saturn game. If anything the final 3 SFC Bomberman games look nice, and showed off some nice scaling in the intros and endings.
